I’ve been searching through a ton of these DC apartment hunting tips, and yours have been the first one that I thought had authentic and practical advice! Love it! Thank you!
im so glad!!! good luck :)
This video is so helpful! I'm a second semester junior in nursing school and planning to move to Washington dc as a new graduate but work in maryland or viriginia. I didnt even realizing I was manifesting by writing things down but turns out that's exactly what it was! I'm going to continue saving, build my credit score and searching for jobs/apartments in that area. Thank you so much!
yesss love to hear it! thank you :)
you had such great advice!! I was taking notes down!!
ahh thank you 💗
you have such dope energy. so honest and unpretentious
never doubt the power of manifesting/ vision boards/ beckoning/ sharing what's possible! You do know it works so speak about it with confidence! Thanks for sharing this valuable video!
thank you for watching!!
Such good advice and planning. So happy that you found a place to live that you enjoy.
thank you so much :)
So helpful! I would love to see more in this series
yay thank you so much!
I absolutely love your channel, I’m original from DC, but I currently live in Laurel, MD which is a super nice area. If you ever decide to leave the DC area, Laurel is very cost efficient.
thank you so much ☺️
Amy Rauch 😊
You’re welcome
I just love your channel
thank you sweet gal
Girlllll you're preaching, you mentioned the horrible yellowy walls in apartments and I turned my head to my horrible yellow walls lmaooo I love this video. I'm apartment hunting in DC at the end of this week and its a bit intimidating so thank you for making this!
hahahahahha you got it, good luck
You are so on point with this approach to manifestation! It's real, the universe supports our dreams and intentions. The more clearly we discover what we want and live in gratitude, the more what we seek will flow to us with ease. Loved the video, thank you :)
thank you for watching 🤍
haha love the "manifest that shit" titling for the 8th tip...but it's so true. there's a quote from my favorite book "the alchemist" that goes, "when you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it" which I think is kind of what you were trying to say at the end there! also, you can maybe name this series "post-grad life" instead of "adulting" but idk it's kind of hard to think of something other than adulting that encompasses everything you want to talk about. I'm excited for this series though because I neeeed to get a credit card but I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to even start lol.
yes so true!!!
Thanks for this! I'm from the UK but am hoping to do my third year of PhD study at the Smithsonian on a scholarship so would be moving to D.C for a year! My first time living away from home, and it would be across the Atlantic haha.
ahh good luck!
I found my apartment building through Facebook! I lived in a group house at first and then moved into my own place. I looked at 15 places in different neighborhoods. My place is huge for the cost but doesn’t have easy access to the metro or laundry (I put in my own laundry system). I have to have car to get to work locations so I decided on Georgetown/Glover Park. But the wharf is my favorite area of dc!
the wharf is beautiful! i do wish the metro was a bit closer to it though
Thank you for the advice, I’m moving to DC in May from FL. When do you think it’s a good time to start looking? Also your price range is what I’m looking to spend, what neighborhood do you live in?
I’d look a month or two before! I don’t share my neighborhood for privacy reasons
@@amyrauch any websites you recommend?
YASSS, manifest sis.
yessss
I think the 2br + den thing is because the den does not meet the housing code standards for a bedroom in terms of space, windows, or outlets--they can't legally call it a bedroom.
yes!
love your outfit! super helpful video (i just subbed)! whered u get ur earrings from?
Thank you! And lulus :)
