Surovkin is most likely under duress in that video clip. As the details slowly emerge it is looking more like Prighozyn's opaque deal with Putin is favoring Prighozyn more than Putin. You have to factor in that the massive amount of research on dictators when applied to Putin says Putin stays there because no one wants his job and he is the fall guy for this war. I think this was very much on Prighozyn's mind that in overthrowing Putin he inherits a poison chalice of a war he has made plain he does not agree with. All Prighozyn has to do is wait for Ukraine to take Bakhmut and perhaps Soledar as well and he is back in political business against a further weakened Putin.
