- It is here!!! ASA on Xbox. I can finally play from my own home!! The question now is how does it play? This is my first time jumping into Ark Survival Ascended on the xbox Series X, this is raw and uncut, well I did cut the 1 minute beverage break. LOL
Like someone else said, the food stat has to go down 50 points for any meat eating dino to eat 1 piece of meat. I think for berry dinos the food stat has to go down 30 points for it to eat one berry.
As for the torpor, it doesn't go down especially fast for a pterry. They just don't have too much torpor, so the tiny amount they have goes down quickly. That makes lower level ones harder to tame because they might not even have enough torpor to stay asleep long enough for the food stat to drop 50 points.
Also, the dino levels is only partially because you're playing on easy. I played on easy at first too, but when I checked the "Force Max Level Dinos" setting, I got 150s.

Not for any meat eating dino, but the far majority. Daeodon eats a meat per 10 food i believe.

Well , the difficulty only makes it so the wild levels are low ... on easy u would not fing lvl 150 dinos at all 🤷
Also the terry whas not broken... low levels have less torpor .. and u can calc at what time it eats ... for meat its 50 food that have to drain if im not wrong and he only had lost like 30
Yeah...It just seemed so slow....I was not sure it just seemed so bizarre.
Anyone who thinks ASA looks no better than ASE is BLIND!!! It looks a billion times better...night and day. Not even including the changes made to the actual landscape, the graphics are way prettier. Perhaps they need to see side by side pictures, but there's an obvious difference to me. Those people are insane 🤣
The only thing that bothers me is the water looks thick...like oil texture. Its beautiful but it looks heavy and thick if that makes sense.
BTW your long run home, ending with a raft trip....👏👏👏....now thats epic Ark content! ❤

Morning, I’ve got for you the how to transfer the items to and from inventory: hold A and press right trigger, it’s stupid but that’s the new way .
To remove all items fast to and from inventory: set target thing on the order inventory and press left bumper, that also is stupid but what can I say

yeah, I stream directly from my console to twitch and its always an issue.
Go to settings for faster tame time

Hard to judge from a youtube video but this looks like a medium preset graphics to me on 1080p.
Which still will look pretty.
Does it look as good as pc? No, but that was never really going to be the case.
More like low settings, and yes, resolution looks rough.
It looks better, this is streamed through twitch and then reuploaded to youtube at 1080p.

@@ziudra91 the frame aren't capped at 30 so they will get better with optimisation, same happened with PC at launch.

ASE ran like trash throughout the entire duration on PS4 and Xbox One. Only improved once next gen console arrived.
Pc is also 100 times more expensive. 😂
