I started using Vanicream about 6 months ago because of Dr. Dray's videos. Best thing I ever did; it's my holy grail. I use prescription Tretinoin and only had minimal flakiness when my skin was adjusting to it; Vanicream is the reason for this. It's a no nonsense product that does the job but is so effective. My skin is dry, sensitive and I've had no irritation or breakouts since using it; it's totally changed my almost 60 year old skin. My skin is smooth, clear and glowy. There's nothing fancy about it, it's just that good!

I love that moisturizer so much that I emailed the company to ask them to please never discontinue it. I slather it on morning and night and go through tubes of it so quickly, I wish it came in a bigger tube!
Vanicream used to be on the very bottom shelf in stores! I believe that the demand for it that our DR Dray has cause is the single reason why it has been raised to the middle shelves!💗. No more bending for me!

However I get the soap bar wet before using it, and then once it’s soapy, I lather some suds in my hands and rub on my face and then rinse it with warm water. It’s honestly great especially if you have stubborn acne, or milia. I’ve tried a lot of different other products, but the z bar really helps with milia

Vanicream saved my skin.. I have dermatitis due to an allergic reaction from years ago. My dermatologist recommended the facial cleanser and I'm obsessed. Been using it for 5 years. It even takes my eye makeup off. There is NOTHING LIKE IT on the market. I also use the lip spf but I'm not happy about the color. It's the only spf I can use on my lips though so I'm grateful for it. I love the sunscreen and use it on my face everyday. I put Cetaphil oil free face hydrating lotion on first, then the spf. It helps it spread more easily and I rub it in really good. I let it absorb for about 5 minutes or more, and then I apply pressed powder. You cannot see the spf at all afterwards. I never get burned and it's fabulous! Thank you for making this video to make people aware of this amazing brand! I hope it sells like crazy so that they never discontinue these products. They are crucial to my life!

Their lip balm is my favorite, and it does fade after initial application. Because they don't advertise a lot, I like them even more! High-quality, no nonsense brand, IMO.

Vanicream’s skin cream is such a godsend! It saved my dry arms and legs, and it works as a moisturizer on my face! I was surprised how I didn’t break out from it despite being oily already, so I’ll continue using the cream all over my body.
VaniCream in the tub is my best friend for my post-menopause skin. Butter me UP with that stuff! I also love the cleanser for my second cleanse when cetaphil and cerave started stinging.

I've been using Vanicream for years and they are one of the only skincare lines which consistently has products that agree with my very sensitive skin. I use Vanicream moisturizer, deodorant, and sunscreen. Instead of the Vanicream facial cleanser, I use Free and Clear Liquid Cleanser which is meant to be used on the face, hands, and body. It's made by the same company and is gentle and affordable. I also use the Free and Clear shampoo and conditioner.
At age 50, I found out I had erythromelalgia and eczema. The eczema was by stress, and finding out I was allergic to dogs and dust mites. VANICREAM was what she recommended. Not only does it help my eczema but also my erythromelalgia problem (always feeling itchy and parched). Walmart is about the only place I can find it. THANK YOU for sharing it with others. I also use it on my Grandson who has eczema.

I love Vanicream EVERYTHING! I use the SPF Sport 35, Moisturizing Cream, Face Wash. I suffer from PD, and this stuff is great! I also apply the moisturizer before adapalene- never had a problem! Thank you! 💗
I have eczema and use vanicream moisturizing cream on my face every other night after serums and my skin is so much better than before! I found this product 3 years ago and have used it since!
I use the regular vanicream in the one pound squirt bottle tub. I love the stuff!! If you have extra dry skin I don’t think it will hurt at all. My skin is sensitive and I put my retinol under it and layer it on top. I used to not be able to wear retinol before I started putting vanicream on top.
Vanicream is my jam! I found out about it through your channel. Now their cleanser, facial moisturizer, and sunscreen are staples in my routine. I’d recommend anyone that tries the sunscreen to use face powder on top to Mattify it.

The daily moisturizer is my favorite! I've been using this for about a year and love the way my skin feels/looks. The last couple of times I've gone to Target it's been sold out when it use to be fully stocked. I use to call it a treasure since not a lot of people were talking about it or knew about it. Thanks for sharing this product with the world because everyone needs it! I had perioral dermatitis for about a year and this really helped my skin and doesn't aggravate it.
I switched to VaniCream and Cerave because I was tired with all the heavier chemical stuff, and it helped my skin so much. The only thing it doesn't do for me, which I have to fix with someone else, is dark sports / Hyperpigmentations. Then I can say I've achieved what I need with my skin.
I am newly diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera.. itching after bathing is maddening.. but this vanicream has been really effective.. my skin was so dry.. so between the cancer and my dry skin.. I’d dread showering. The stuff is thick., but it 100% works. Yay.
Vanicream is one of the brands that continue to still test on animals. They also try to act like they are cruelty free, when that couldn't be farther from the truth. For anyone looking for an alternative to Vanicream try Ceramedx!
If you need anymore recommendations just ask, or you can search on Google for cruelty free kitty and her blog will tell you all the cruelty free brands to safely shop from. It's not entirely updated, but there are a few others too like ethical elephant and logical harmony. It can be a very difficult thing. If you're looking for a good Retinol body Lotion you can try Advanced Clinicals
Vanicream has been a life saver for my rosacea. Cerave cream in the tub definitely flared my rosacea as well as other heavy moisturizers. HOWEVER, Vanicream in the tub does not at all! Anecdotally, I think us with rosacea that flare with heavy moisturizers is because we are sensitive to some ingredients in the product and coupling that with the occlusivity of heavy cream is a recipe for disaster. However, nothing is Vanicream irritates my skin, so the occlusive nature has saved my rosacea and allowed me to consistently use my topical medication without irritation. So, if you have rosacea and are using azelaic acid and Tretinoin, I highly recommend Vanicream in the tub, applying it to damp skin after your evening double cleanse, and then wait until it dries and fully absorbs before applying Tretinoin.❤️
SG, very well said, I agree. Cerave stung my face and body as well. Something in it that was irritating. Vanicream is just the best, no frills, inexpensive, no strong smell and easy to find. I’m thankful to Dr Dray as I had never noticed it in the store before her mentioning it.

The Vanicream daily facial moisturizer converted me from my previous holy grail, Cerave in the tub, which I had been using religiously for over a decade. I still use the Cerave (I buy it when it's on sale so I still have an extra large tub to get through) on lazy nights where I just cleanse and moisturize, but the Vanicream was an actual "wow" from me.

Love me some Vanicream products! I have some very expensive dermatologist recommended products that work very well, but I always return to Vanicream. Dr. Dray is so right on about the benefits of petrolatum for those of us who live in Colorado.
The facial cleanser has quite literally changed my skin. No other cleanser has been able to thoroughly clean my skin(I get breakouts the very next day of skin isn’t clean) without drying it out. Never switching to anything else
21 year old with acne prone skin and also very sensitive skin. I am currently using arazlo (switched to this after one year of retina) and dapsone gel. Vanicream is my holy grail skincare brand. I've tried so many other gentle skincare brands and nothing compares to vanicream. This stuff saved my skin when I had a bad allergic reaction to a face product. Derm said discontinue everything and use vanicream and my red puffy scaly skin thanked me. Now I want to try it again.
Have been using the cleanser and I like it. More cleansing power than the Cerave hyrdrating cleanser but not as drying as as the Cerave foaming cleanser - it's a nice compromise.

Another dermatologist I watch, Shereene Idriss, quotes a derm book saying hyluronic acid PULLS moisture from the skin and that too many products include it. So if a particular product says it IS hyluronic acid, then the skin will be getting too much and you’ll result in even drier skin. Hyluronic acid is also known as sodium hyaluronate and potassium hyaluronate. If multiple skin care items include these ingredients, it’ll be too much. Can you please offer your opinion on this because I feel like there’s some confusion for me.
Thought I was doing alright skin care wise and love Dr.Dray videos...saw my derm cause my face wasn't getting better and was told to stop everything except vanicream...went straight to dr.dray to see her take on vanicream (had seen one or 2 videos with a vanicream prod) and found this 🤩🤩 feeling better now!

I am so glad you mentioned vanicream Zbar!!!! I use it on my face daily now and it has seriously helped my mild rosacea and mask irritation. I don’t know how it can be so effective in wash off form but damn! I use it on my body too and it doesn’t dry me out ;)
I bought the lip balm for the first time a few days ago, just waiting for it to arrive! I picked up the facial cleanser and daily facial moisturizer after watching one of your videos (can’t remember exactly which one). Oh my goodness these two products are now my holy grails! I’ve always had issues with my skin feeling dry but the skin around my nose going to under my mouth is particularly sensitive. Most products will be fine at first but later on will irritate that patch to the point where it feels like a burning sensation. I’ve been using them for a little under half a year and haven’t had any issues since starting to use those two products! Thank you so much for your recommendations
The Vanicream facial cleanser and facial moisturizer is such an upgrade from Cetaphil gentle cleanser and lotion. I am surprised to find Cetaphil burned my face, I figured its likely the citric acid or sth in the formulation. Vanicream facial series does not contain any irritant ingredients. It literally feels like a kiss on the skin. In Canada and ordered from Iherb.

I couldn’t find any in stores around where I live. I’m not sure why Vanicream doesn’t sell them in our Canadian stores, I’ve had to order them from Amazon. Glad they get here the day after I order. Might order the one with the SPF next.
I do have eczema. I’ve used Cerave face milk wash for years and I enjoy it. Today I tried Vanicream face wash. It dried my face and hands. My hands then broke out in hives. Taking Dr. Dray’s recommendation I have been using Vanicream sunscreen and the lip sunscreen. The Cerave milk wash is wonderfully easy to use. I’ve never had (knock on wood) eczema or hive side effects from Cerave or Eucerin.

@@NYS30 oh their cleanser is most definitely for sensitive skin, I have very sensitive skin myself, and yes it’s great for all skin types!! It’s purpose is to be really gentle and not strip the skin of moisture. :) I know a few people with oily skin who love it. Give it a try, it’s like the most gentle cleanser I’ve ever used. I used it when I had an awful chemical burn on my face because it was the only one that didn’t irritate my burn further, just to give you an idea of how gentle it is.
I’ve gotta say I despise anti perspirants plain speed stick is my holy grail. If I don’t sweat in armpits it just goes everywhere else!!! No Thankyou and they all burn 🔥

Can you do a reveiw on their hair line? I use it. It's no frills. A little shampoo goes a long way and the conditioner is very moisturizing! I have kinky hair and it make my hair very manageable.
Can you make a video about face moisturizers or face products with urea ! Because with kp on my cheeks i always find body products with urea and don't know what's safe for the face !
Absolutely LOVE Vanicream!! I use regularly the gentle facial cleanser and the new daily moisturizer. My sensitive skin is calm and less red since incorporating them into my daily routine. :) The cleanser will even remove makeup effectively.

I love Vanicream EVERYTHING! I use the SPF Sport 35, Moisturizing Cream, Face Wash. I suffer from PD, and this stuff is great! I also apply the moisturizer before adapalene- never had a problem! Thank you! 💗
I have eczema and use vanicream moisturizing cream on my face every other night after serums and my skin is so much better than before! I found this product 3 years ago and have used it since!

I use the regular vanicream in the one pound squirt bottle tub. I love the stuff!! If you have extra dry skin I don’t think it will hurt at all. My skin is sensitive and I put my retinol under it and layer it on top. I used to not be able to wear retinol before I started putting vanicream on top.

Vanicream is my jam! I found out about it through your channel. Now their cleanser, facial moisturizer, and sunscreen are staples in my routine. I’d recommend anyone that tries the sunscreen to use face powder on top to Mattify it.

The daily moisturizer is my favorite! I've been using this for about a year and love the way my skin feels/looks. The last couple of times I've gone to Target it's been sold out when it use to be fully stocked. I use to call it a treasure since not a lot of people were talking about it or knew about it. Thanks for sharing this product with the world because everyone needs it!
I had perioral dermatitis for about a year and this really helped my skin and doesn't aggravate it.
I switched to VaniCream and Cerave because I was tired with all the heavier chemical stuff, and it helped my skin so much. The only thing it doesn't do for me, which I have to fix with someone else, is dark sports / Hyperpigmentations. Then I can say I've achieved what I need with my skin.
I love their tub of moisturizer, the body wash, and face cleanser.
I am newly diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera.. itching after bathing is maddening.. but this vanicream has been really effective.. my skin was so dry.. so between the cancer and my dry skin.. I’d dread showering. The stuff is thick., but it 100% works. Yay.
Would love to see a video on types of moisturizers based on the climate such as dry, humid, etc.

Vanicream is one of the brands that continue to still test on animals. They also try to act like they are cruelty free, when that couldn't be farther from the truth. For anyone looking for an alternative to Vanicream try Ceramedx!

If you need anymore recommendations just ask, or you can search on Google for cruelty free kitty and her blog will tell you all the cruelty free brands to safely shop from. It's not entirely updated, but there are a few others too like ethical elephant and logical harmony. It can be a very difficult thing. If you're looking for a good Retinol body Lotion you can try Advanced Clinicals
Vanicream has been a life saver for my rosacea. Cerave cream in the tub definitely flared my rosacea as well as other heavy moisturizers. HOWEVER, Vanicream in the tub does not at all! Anecdotally, I think us with rosacea that flare with heavy moisturizers is because we are sensitive to some ingredients in the product and coupling that with the occlusivity of heavy cream is a recipe for disaster. However, nothing is Vanicream irritates my skin, so the occlusive nature has saved my rosacea and allowed me to consistently use my topical medication without irritation. So, if you have rosacea and are using azelaic acid and Tretinoin, I highly recommend Vanicream in the tub, applying it to damp skin after your evening double cleanse, and then wait until it dries and fully absorbs before applying Tretinoin.❤️
I agree that this cream doesn't feel heavy at all if applied to damp/wet skin. I think it helps that it doesn't dry down oily.
SG, very well said, I agree. Cerave stung my face and body as well. Something in it that was irritating. Vanicream is just the best, no frills, inexpensive, no strong smell and easy to find. I’m thankful to Dr Dray as I had never noticed it in the store before her mentioning it.
I have always wanted to try their products. Currently only use their lip spf. Can’t wait to watch this video.

The Vanicream daily facial moisturizer converted me from my previous holy grail, Cerave in the tub, which I had been using religiously for over a decade. I still use the Cerave (I buy it when it's on sale so I still have an extra large tub to get through) on lazy nights where I just cleanse and moisturize, but the Vanicream was an actual "wow" from me.

Love me some Vanicream products! I have some very expensive dermatologist recommended products that work very well, but I always return to Vanicream. Dr. Dray is so right on about the benefits of petrolatum for those of us who live in Colorado.
The facial cleanser has quite literally changed my skin. No other cleanser has been able to thoroughly clean my skin(I get breakouts the very next day of skin isn’t clean) without drying it out. Never switching to anything else
21 year old with acne prone skin and also very sensitive skin. I am currently using arazlo (switched to this after one year of retina) and dapsone gel. Vanicream is my holy grail skincare brand. I've tried so many other gentle skincare brands and nothing compares to vanicream. I use almost all of their products 🤣♥️.. the gentle facial cleanser, both the lotion and cream, the new facial moisturizer, their spf 50 and vaniply. I even love their Deodorant and hair products. Forever the love of my life, vanicream 😍♥️

This stuff saved my skin when I had a bad allergic reaction to a face product. Derm said discontinue everything and use vanicream and my red puffy scaly skin thanked me. Now I want to try it again.

Have been using the cleanser and I like it. More cleansing power than the Cerave hyrdrating cleanser but not as drying as as the Cerave foaming cleanser - it's a nice compromise.

Another dermatologist I watch, Shereene Idriss, quotes a derm book saying hyluronic acid PULLS moisture from the skin and that too many products include it. So if a particular product says it IS hyluronic acid, then the skin will be getting too much and you’ll result in even drier skin.
Hyluronic acid is also known as sodium hyaluronate and potassium hyaluronate. If multiple skin care items include these ingredients, it’ll be too much. Can you please offer your opinion on this because I feel like there’s some confusion for me.
I use vanicream moisturizing cream on my face. It helps with my dryness while using Altreno.
Thought I was doing alright skin care wise and love Dr.Dray videos...saw my derm cause my face wasn't getting better and was told to stop everything except vanicream...went straight to dr.dray to see her take on vanicream (had seen one or 2 videos with a vanicream prod) and found this 🤩🤩 feeling better now!

I am so glad you mentioned vanicream Zbar!!!! I use it on my face daily now and it has seriously helped my mild rosacea and mask irritation. I don’t know how it can be so effective in wash off form but damn! I use it on my body too and it doesn’t dry me out ;)

I bought the lip balm for the first time a few days ago, just waiting for it to arrive! I also ordered my second tube of the daily facial moisturizer--that's such a great product for me! it's very humid here, and it has been a struggle to find a good moisturizer that doesn't just sit on top the skin. I use their conditioner as well. I look forward to trying this newly formulated sunscreen when I need to pick up my next bottle. thanks dr. dray, you've helped me cut through the confusing, glossy advertising muck and find some simple and effective products that really work for me.

Gentle cleanser and moisturizing cream saved me from dryness and irritation after starting adapalene and tozarac 0.1 gel. And saved my money!!

I picked up the facial cleanser and daily facial moisturizer after watching one of your videos (can’t remember exactly which one). Oh my goodness these two products are now my holy grails! I’ve always had issues with my skin feeling dry but the skin around my nose going to under my mouth is particularly sensitive. Most products will be fine at first but later on will irritate that patch to the point where it feels like a burning sensation. I’ve been using them for a little under half a year and haven’t had any issues since starting to use those two products! Thank you so much for your recommendations

The Vanicream facial cleanser and facial moisturizer is such an upgrade from Cetaphil gentle cleanser and lotion. I am surprised to find Cetaphil burned my face, I figured its likely the citric acid or sth in the formulation. Vanicream facial series does not contain any irritant ingredients. It literally feels like a kiss on the skin. In Canada and ordered from Iherb.
Thanks to Dr Dray, I use all of these products. Also the hair care products, most recently the hair gel! So glad to find non-irritating hair products.

I couldn’t find any in stores around where I live. I’m not sure why Vanicream doesn’t sell them in our Canadian stores, I’ve had to order them from Amazon. Glad they get here the day after I order. Might order the one with the SPF next.
I do have eczema. I’ve used Cerave face milk wash for years and I enjoy it. Today I tried Vanicream face wash. It dried my face and hands. My hands then broke out in hives. Taking Dr. Dray’s recommendation I have been using Vanicream sunscreen and the lip sunscreen. The Cerave milk wash is wonderfully easy to use. I’ve never had (knock on wood) eczema or hive side effects from Cerave or Eucerin.

@@NYS30 oh their cleanser is most definitely for sensitive skin, I have very sensitive skin myself, and yes it’s great for all skin types!! It’s purpose is to be really gentle and not strip the skin of moisture. :) I know a few people with oily skin who love it. Give it a try, it’s like the most gentle cleanser I’ve ever used. I used it when I had an awful chemical burn on my face because it was the only one that didn’t irritate my burn further, just to give you an idea of how gentle it is.

Just started tonight using the Zbar. I am using for my face where it gets red. This will be replacing my normal vanacream face wash. Let’s see how it goes.
Can you do a reveiw on their hair line? I use it. It's no frills. A little shampoo goes a long way and the conditioner is very moisturizing! I have kinky hair and it make my hair very manageable.
Can you make a video about face moisturizers or face products with urea ! Because with kp on my cheeks i always find body products with urea and don't know what's safe for the face !

Eucerin has urea lotions and creams for the face starting at 5%!
Absolutely LOVE Vanicream!! I use regularly the gentle facial cleanser and the new daily moisturizer. My sensitive skin is calm and less red since incorporating them into my daily routine. :) The cleanser will even remove makeup effectively.
