    it's crazy how in 5bld the difference between WR16 and world record are like 2 minutes apart

    Ok so this video taught me that my memo is fast enough, but my exec is super slow. I memo around 2:15 usually, but I've only ever had 1 sub 5. Although I don't do much 5BLD, that's probably the problem.

    incredible solve! nothing inspires me more than watching 5bld solves this fast
    this might be a silly question, but how could i speed up 5bld execution? my memo average is 2:30 like this solve, but i global a minute slower than 4:09

    Why do some people in big blind have a judge holding the cover when they start turning and others have that cover that is attatched to them.

    • @TriCubing
      @TriCubing Před 8 měsíci +3

      It's because some people can't do 5BLD quickly. Tommy can do it in around 5 minutes(this solve being 4min), but others can take over 10 minutes and most of the time, more to actually complete their attempt which is why some competitors need to use their own covers instead of judges holding the cover by hand for a long time.

  • @Whitelisted_Productions
    @Whitelisted_Productions Před 8 měsíci +1

    Disqualified, the judge took 1.52 seconds to put the paper in front of you, you must have cheated somehow in that time. Seriously though congrats, even though I know how it works it’s still incredibly difficult and impressive. Congrats on the PB

    • @davidtsiangwy
      @davidtsiangwy Před 8 měsíci

      Then why isn't every single blind solve that has ever happened disqualified? Judges always take a second or two to put that piece of paper in front of the competitors.
