Chow Chow Colours Explained

  • In this Episode we will be covering the Standard and Non Standard Colours in the Chow Chow Breed.
    The Colours recognised by the UK Kennel Club are Red, Black, Blue, Fawn, Cream (and White) I will show you examples of these colours in both adults and as Puppies.
    The majority of Dogs shown are our own.(those that are not are the Majority of the self Reds, the Samoyeds and all the Non Standard Colours.)

    Incredible video! Keep them coming! It’s so discouraging to see all these irresponsible breeders producing these “rare colors” in any breed. I grew up with chows and I hope this breed doesn’t get completely ruined for the sake of pride and money.

      It’s the original coat type, so definitely the real thing x

      it depends on their genetics but Black and shaded Reds are the more dominant colours.

      No, I said black dogs are hard to recognise their facial expressions
