Btw frieza didn’t get a new form, his final form is his original form and he created the other ones to suppress his power since he was so strong and couldn’t really control it that well.

In the actual story, Freeza intentionally kills Dende first because he watched him heal Piccolo, realizing that Dende was the reason to Krillin & Gohan "miraculously" coming back.
Eliminating Dende was essentially getting rid of zenkai's.
