The reason why T-bird probably got the manslaughter charge is because the prosecutor didn't have enough witnesses to come testify. I'm assuming the two victims probably left or didn't live in the area anymore because he should have been found guilty as long as they had the two victims that were shot testify on him. But I'm thinking the other guy that got 55 to life already got a sentence so he's not going to testify on him anymore because he's not getting anything out of it so he probably told the prosecutor to go pound sand when they wanted him to testify on T-Bird and he's already sentenced and got hella time so he doesn't care he's not going to testify because he's not getting Anything in exchange to testify. And that's probably why T-bird only got manslaughter because the state couldn't bringing the burden of proof so they offered him a deal that they knew he would take. If Chun was only 16 at the time of the crime he's considered a minor still so I don't see how they're allowed to give him a life sentence. I thought a new law passed away they can't give minors life sentences anymore but I could be wrong. But I remember watching something on TV that said a lot of dudes were getting released because they were in prison when they were minor and I guess it's considered cruel and unusual punishment to send a minor to prison for life
