Love to see Pat having Scotty on. People have no clue how MASSIVE the Indy 500 is in the state of Indiana and especially Indianapolis. The race is seriously bigger than the Super Bowl and World Cup final combined. Pat being a Indianapolis icon; ignoring the month of May would be a serious problem for him(I'd bet my life that Pat himself had some kinda conversation with ESPN regarding his coverage of the race). So yeah, I enjoyed the interview and hope that it will convince a few people to check it out on Sunday. Or at least check out the last 20 laps; you will surely see something awesome happen.
It’s the one of the big three races across the world. It’s insane how awsome it is. Just hope f1 comes back to the track.

They do. I like both series but both sides bag in eachother at times. When Nigel Mansell left formula 1 for IndyCar Bernie ecclstone had a childish fit and even went to the lengths of buying out his contract and saying petty things like challenging them to races. They both do it and I don’t get it. Why not just enjoy both and they aren’t really the same in most ways other than both have open wheel cars and use road courses but the concept and car design and rules are totally different

No he didn't. F1 racing on the road course topped out around that on the oval portion of the circuit back when they raced there.
