Hi Wendy, I have been watching this journal series and enjoying every minute, as I always do. You have such a calming voice and I love hearing about the girls and Midge. So cute!! Im sorry for not commenting as I usually do. I've been watching you while wrapping my gifts and forgetting to comment. By the way we also celebrate on Christmas Eve and we get together on Christmas again and play with our gifts and eat Christmas Eve left over dinner. I also make the dinner and this year brought it to my daughter's home. My grandson is in the service and he and his wife came home for Christmas. It was perfect. Anyway happy to hear you had a great holiday. Wishing you and yours a wonderful New Year.❤

Boxing day is the day after Christmas, so 26th December. Traditionally in the UK, the servants had little boxes which they took round asking for money. The boxes were made of pottery with a slot on the top to put coins in, much like a piggy bank. Once they had collected any tips, at the end of Boxing day they would smash the boxes and get any coins that had been given to them. As you can imagine, these very poorly paid people really looked forward to increasing their wages! So, that's why Boxing day is called Boxing day, nothing to do with being knocked out. Hope this helped.

Christmas holiday has slowed my viewing but I am catching up finally 😍 Fantastic and thank you for sharing 🤩 Our Christmas changed this year to Christmas eve accommodating in law family! we always have rib roast and the fixings! Christmas eve we usually have Mexican dinner, this year on Christmas just hubby and I! Be well and safe! Happy 2023!!

Lovely Wendy, i have enjoyed this series and the beautiful Renaissance papers. I just think people are extra busy this time of year probably not as much time to follow big projects. My girls still follow. They are not big on commenting though. How did Midge enjoy Christmas🎄

Hi Wendy merry Christmas. I love these botanicals and the labels as well. You mentioned you haven’t had as much viewers for this series, maybe they’re in the category with me where we’re a little lukewarm regarding medieval images and so forth I am trying to think of ways that I would enjoy using them but I haven’t really met that goal! The journal is lovely though especially the blue cover

Hi Wendy~ I don't always comment, but I enjoy watching every video of yours!! This series is no different, except, I've watched intermitantly between Christmas activities! You have a soft voice which is easy to listen to and give great detailed instructions. You also have excellent ideas, and use beautiful papers and other materials... and, I have really enjoyed hearing of your Christmas traditions! Traditions are so important to pass on to generations after ours! Did I miss your intent with these two journals? Will they be for sale? Thanks, always, for sharing! I really like this series better than the Xmas stuff, the only thing that would make it even better is if you could do a project like this using just botanicals and adding in some of your envelope projects you've made in the past.
