- A behind the scenes glimpse into the making of Emirates’ 50th A380 aircraft. It takes 800 workers just 65 to 80 days to assemble, install, test, paint, furnish and deliver an Emirates Airbus A380, the iconic double-decker aircraft that has been creating headlines and delighting travellers since it first entered Emirates service in 2008.
Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of A380 aircraft, currently serving 29 global destinations. All of Emirates’ A380s have been assembled and delivered via the Airbus facility in Hamburg.

Another stunning time lapse video. Great work. Thanks for sharing. - On the other hand difficult to believe that Airbus considers to stop producing the A380. It was recently in the news, not sure what the outcome was or will be, especially es Emirates bought so many of them and built a Terminal (Concourse A at T3) especially dedicated and adopted to accommodate for the A380.

On July 9 2014, Emirates finalized a $56 billion order to procure 150 Boeing 777X jets.
Why are they buying so many planes 50 a380 and 150 Boeing 777 pending?
MegaUkev Actually now they have 55 A380's in their fleet with 85 more on order, that's 140 A380's to complete the A380 fleet and bought 150 777X aircrafts. Emirates has the largest 777 fleet with 142. which was (just recently) 143, but Emirates retired their first 777 on the first of October after that 777 served 18 years with Emirates.
Buying all these planes and expanding their fleet is great but what does that mean? More pilot!!!!
which would explain the link on their website "Pilot Vacancies" stating job requirements for a first officer position on the 777, A330 and A380 and a link to the application. Anyone looking for a excellent airline to fly for? Emirates at the top of my list for airlines to fly for!
