Remind me to find out if your in the pilot seat? I spent 4 yrs. In the USAF dealing with B-52s & the KC-135, flying a jet air craft is VERY involved & Technical business, many hours of training!! LoL with your idea!! I was 1/2 way to my license but got married & discontinued training. My advice to you is find a Great flying school & start learning !!
He took an extremely long and complicated process and condensed it down using words and phrases that everyone can understand. That was NOT easy to do. Great video and great pilot!
It's crazy, every second there's planes lifting off and landing everywhere in the world, so much movement and we almost never have any crashes, even thought the job is quite challenging, lots of respect to all the pilots
I wish you had been my insrtructor in 1973. I got my pilots license without understanding what the glideslope was. I only have 800 hours and I've not flown since 1984, but your explanation of a very complex flight was incredible. I mean, I feel I can simply get up, get in the plane and fly it without a single thought. Excellent video! Congratulations!
The second group discussion we were 8 and they gonna give u a situation (mine was a hostess in a hotel and the hotel fully booked still just 2 rooms available and u have to choose between 9 guest just 2 of them and the recruiters they will be passing by ur group and see how u guys talk and after 15min they gonna ask 3 of each group some questions)
True! I mean seriously. Ppl should really start to upload tutorials on how to operate planes, ships, helicopters, buses, engine boats, etc. They will be very helpful someday
Wow, such a calm demeanor, and he makes it all sound so simple! Noticed the nice triple gold wedding ring from Cartier. Class act sir, class act. You have my utmost respect and admiration for piloting such a huge aircraft!
Love how I’m subconsciously nodding along to everything he’s saying thinking “yeah ok I get it, I can do this” and taking it all in. Then realising it’s just a video and I’ll never be flying a A380!
Great video! It's wonderful to see the tremendous changes that have been made in the electronics in the cockpits of the new aircrafts. Thanks for providing this for everybody' to see and hear I appreciate it greatly! Thanks again!
Amazing what humanity has accomplished. I still marvel in awe when I see these steel birds weighin tons taking off. When I make my observations to friends/people they just think I'm crazy, they don't appreciate the technology and take it for granted.
After watching this I ran up to Cleveland Hopkins and applied for a pilot job. I have been flying for a week now, it's pretty exciting. I am now looking for a video on rocket navigation, thought perhaps I would sign up to SpaceX for the first passenger flight crew.
I have been an Emirates passenger before. Yes indeed, an in-flight service above many others. The flight experience and ethnic and language diversity of the staff makes flying Emirates, a world-class! Being a vegetarian, I was well provided for throughout the journey.
Thank you,Captain, for the brief overview of flying the A380.You did an excellent job, condensing, what is a very complex aircraft, and one that I wish I would have had the chance to travel on.👍
well done my pilot friend though all airbus aircraft are technologically complex you present in a way to make it quite simple for the average person. also your arm hair is quite impressive.
This machine is incredible! I've studied aviation for all my life. This technology is leaps and bounds from "stick and rudder". These aircraft essentially fly themselves with the pilots keeping everything honest. And human voice ATC.
professionalism to the core, this airline will be the number 1 airline in the world well into the future great service and hospitality thanks for sharing
Thank you very much for this great class. I was really excited to learn so much about the A380, my favorite aircraft as a passenger. Unfortunately the A380 is being discontinued globally and soon Emirates might be the only remaining airline flying it. Have a nice flight!
Not every flight will have passengers on. Sometimes aircraft have to be re positioned and every so often they have to be flown to another airport to go through a very comprehensive service.
You won't be flying an empty A380 on cargo flight and half a million an hour just for fuel...that's like using a Cruise Ship to run gasoline out to an island somewhere. Cargo is taken in planes with no passenger seats. Jackass....
Thank you, Pilot, I really enjoyed your explanation on the Airbus A380 Emirates Airline I have been traveling with Emirates for the last 20 years every 1 or 2 years really enjoyed Emirates flights Thank you
Thank you Captain for a most enjoyable video. The flight deck is just amazing and considerably advanced since the Cessna 150 I in which I learned to fly:-). When the A380 came on to production in Toulouse I lived a bit further south in France near Perpignan which has a very quiet airport. When pilots from the airlines which had purchased the A380 were being trained they used Perpignan to do "touch and goes". It was amazing to see this monster aircraft approach in from the Med, touch down with a little bit of smoke from its tyres/tires and then climb steeply to commence another circuit. Happy days.
Thanks Captain Ali brilliant ! , I remember working on the first commercial A380 (S.A.) on the weekend of Friday 12th-14th October 2007 at A.B. I have so much respect for pilots. It's such a difficult job, with so much pressure, but we usually never even see their faces.
Rachael McInnes yes we never see their faces!
You have a nice face though 😋
