- Watch our Superwomen pilots fly to five continents from Dubai on the world’s largest Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 fleet in March 2018.
• Captain Patricia Bischoff from Canada and First Officer Rebecca Lougheed from the UK fly the Emirates A380 to San Francisco.
• Captain Heather Wolf from Canada, First Officer Marieke Kremer from Netherlands and Cadet Pilot Noof Omar from the UAE fly the Emirates Boeing 777 to Singapore.
• First Officer Nancy Binder from Canada flies the Emirates Boeing 777 to Lisbon.
• First Officer Ekam Ahluwalia from India flies the Emirates A380 to Manchester.
• Captain Rocio Rodriguez from Mexico flies the Emirates A380 to Perth.
• Captain Martha Chatziiliadou from Greece and First Officer Dominique Cotte from Australia fly the Emirates Boeing 777 to Algiers.
Have just flown with my first ever female captain from London Gatwick to Dubai on the A380. Great flight… rain & crosswinds on landing so had to abort landing at last minute. She came on afterwards to calmly explain what had happened & reassure everyone. Safely down at the second attempt
I have tears in my eyes as I watch this. I passed ground school at 15 years old and wanted to be a fighter pilot in the Air Force. Unfortunately, my eyesight would not have been acceptable. I gave up on my dreams of commercial flying too. The A380 is my dream to fly and seeing these amazing women brings me mixed happiness. It should have been me in that cockpit. Now, I am teaching my almost 6 year old daughter all about Aviation (She never misses pointing out a contrail) She wants to be a teacher when she grows up but I told her she has plenty of time to decide. I hope to at least instill my love of Aviation in her. She already had her first flight with her Father ( Delta) and she looked out the window the whole time! She even took the most beautiful photo of the wing, sunset and moon just for me! I cried tears of joy because she loved her first flight. Whether or not she becomes a pilot, I want her to know that she can be ANYTHING she wants to be. Maybe someday she will be in that Captain seat and she can bring her Momma for a cockpit tour ❤️

Sure Mr. PC, talk to existing white male pilots that know affirmative action and DEI (aka DIE) are attempting to replace them by lowering academic standards, experience, and frankly more emotion based CRM to become a pilot.
Kudos to all these incredible women for breaking so many barriers on the way to achieving their dreams.

so many barriers? females have special treatments and previllages. companies are pushing away competent males, in order to hire representative incompetent women. That affects prize of the ticket as well, becouse clients are punished to that.

You're more likely to get a airline job at emirates with previous airline experience. So apply for the budget airlines and get your hours in a boeing or airbus. Longhaul is not for everyone though.

Thank you emirates. My first emirates flight was on a b777-300 starting at bos/dubai my pilot was mr Patrick and i was in the middle row with my fam. That flight inspired me into being a pilot. Thanks for everything emirates!

The increased participation of women throughout our various cultures just make things better and more enjoyable. I raced MX years ago, and knew several female riders. Sure, they couldn't compete with the faster guys in the expert class, but neither could most of us guys. I just enjoyed having them there, seemed to give a sense of validity, like we weren't the only ones crazy enough to try running over each other on the track. They're smart, too. And scary at times.
