- Coming back from illness is always interesting - recovering from a bad cold / flu / COVID (who knows what it really was) over Christmas - and recording a quick flight in the Wilga around Friday Harbour.

you forgot to mention not only the cardboard trees in X-Plane but also the Newspaper taxis lol comming to take you away
This was an excellent video, showcasing both the Wilga and San Juan Islands well. I like when you have a plan but fly around a bit outside of it, makes it more real.

Engine probably started without sparks because you had engine realism disabled on the clipboard. Also probably why it didn't die with the cowl flaps closed (may be happening if you have spoiler axis bound to something). It doesn't argue with you much without that. Check out the wheel touch indicator instrument btw. What a great plane this is! I love flying it in VR with both doors taken off. I've been doing a good deal of VOR & NDB hopping. Fun stuff.
Of course - I didn't think of that (the engine realism on the clipboard) - that explains everything.

Just baught this aeroplane based on You reccomendations and....Absolutely mad I am and am Enjoying very much. Ok now no more aeorplanes cause room is getting scarce in me computer.
