    drivencarreviews.com/ Families have embraced crossovers and for 2013, Hyundai is taking a big cue from that. The new third generation Santa Fe is becoming a family of CUVs of sorts. Tom Voelk takes the two-row Sport model for a shakedown in the hills of Park City, Utah and offers a sneak peek of the three-row version.

    I bought my wife a 2013 Santa Fe sport. Has the 2.4L in it and it’s FWD. the car is absolutely flawless. Someone kept it in the garage. It is deep blue with grey wheels. I can’t think of a better car I could have gotten. This will stay with us for years to come.

    I am going to pick up mine tomorrow. I test drove a few smaller SUV's, and over all this really impressed me the most, and 2nd was the Ford EDGE.

    Hi Speedy,
    Sorry, but I don't advise people on car choices. My best advice is do lots of research and buy the car you love.
    As for frameless windows, it's a bit off my radar screen specifically. I doubt automakers would continue to use them if they were problematic. I have heard no problems with CC's, a friend of mine has one and loves it. Best of luck! TV

    The turbo I drove had smooth power delivery through the rev range though not as much low end torque as I would have expected considering the specs.

    Very nice redesign. I recent test drove a 2007, which I believe is the first year of this SUV's first and, in my personal opinion, much needed, facelift.
    That has to be my favorite redesign of any car.
    I' now considering this as my next vehicle when I upgrade from my Honda Civic.
    I have to say it was an amazing ride! It wasn't only beautiful, the ride, handling, height, and overall quality, equaled its looks.
    I'm 23 single and have no children, but I can see myself in the family ride!

    Good review. Santa Fe reminds me of the Subaru Tribeca on the outside. I've had a Vera Cruz for over four years now and i've loved it. I'll be checking out the longer wheel base version and possibly looking to trade up.

    Audi A7 doors do not roll down when you unlock the vehicle in anticipation for the passanger to board the vehicle... whereas the VW CC does that... isnt that weird.. can you raise this question to AUDI??
    DO you think that The frameless door cars start losing the cabin quiteness over the time more badly than a regular sedan..i am confused.. i want to buy between A6 or A7... i love the CC also... dont know what to do.

    but you have to see it as people with just 1 generation older Hyundai looking at the new Hyundai and ask why does it change so quickly. It won't do good with resale values and the consumers maybe pressured to get a new car. Hyundai still has a long way to go to earn the prestige that Toyota, Honda and Nissan have. Style isn't everything, give the current Hyundai's another 5-8 years and see what happens.

    Hyundai still has a long road ahead of them. Any car expert and journalist will know that. The Koreans don't even have any super cars or sport cars yet unlike the Lexus LFA and the Nissan GT-R. Their technology and engines is still severely behind the Japanese.

    Did you drive it? Did you try it? I guess no... dude, I am sure this car is more top quality than many cars in the segment now. Trust me, I got an Accent 2007, and it is still running like day one, while many of my friends got rid of their Yaris or Lancer, to buy a Hyundai or Kia... And as a matter of fact, I also own a Honda CR-V, so you can tell by yourself what are my top quality references. That is enough said.

    im talking about true enthusiast cars such as Honda and Mazda. You will never see Korean cars in drifting or street racing, or any car movies in your life time.

    "prestige that Toyota, Honda and Nissan have"... ignorant people think this is 1980... that bullshit of Honda Toyota superiority is gone... this is 2012 kid. Hyundai sales higher than Honda. Genesis coupe v6 as high quality as any Honda plus would rape any shitty honda in power and style.

  • @mlps93
    @mlps93 Před 11 lety

    bigger and more powerful engine doesn't mean its a better car, you must be a stuck up person who can't afford a proper car and got a Hyundai because its cheap and it "looks cool". Like you said yourself, of course newer sport cars are going to "rape" Honda S2000's and Mazda RX-8'S. But Hyundai is not even close to establishing itself yet as a long run reliable solid higher class image brand. You can keep drinking Hyundai juice while reality will just go right through you.

  • @mlps93
    @mlps93 Před 11 lety

    Again, you keep drinking the Hyundai juice
    Nothing can touch the Nissan GT-R at that price point.
    GM is the largest car maker in the planet, but they are not the best brands. Get a reality check, Korean and American cars have the highest depreciation value, why do you think only poor low income students drive them.
    FYI, Toyota and GM keeps switching #1. Of course the Hyundai will be so high up when it has only its Korean sister brand Kia competing in major markets. Unlike the Japanese...
