- We're going to make the "leather" Apple iPhone case look a lot more leather today. Why am I faking a patina?

Great video! I took it one step further and when my saddle case was sanded, I used a q-tip dipped in acetone & rubbed it, doing a small area at a time. It took the all ugly light brown leather dye off and left it with a beautiful mahogany dark brown coloured leather. Then I oiled it and it’s stunning!
I just bought the product red case, but in bright light it looked like lipstick and was irritating me. Rather than sand paper, I used rubbing alcohol to remove the protective coating. I then used olive oil. It gave me just enough patina that I’m happier with the look and will let it naturally go from here on out.
I like that too, lol chief kief had a selfie with his and it was worn and torn up and it looked really good...I wonder how my green leather case would look
Hmmm I'm thinking about trying this. I made a video of cleaning and conditioner. This seems a lite different. But very cool mine looks like that already lol. Keep up the great work😁😁😁👍🏽
So when they say Patina on Leather tells the story of u with the case. I guess stories like these are like “Well I made my story happen by forcing it”

Boredom Fix I just grab some sponge and organic coconut oil and keep rubbing it till the color I want. I will do this process over and over till I get the patina I want. Sometimes I do it 3-4 times in couple of days period.

Hi I used sand paper and then coconut oil. I might have used a lot of oil. The color is really nice but it feels somehow rigid. Will the leather soft feel come back with use. Or the oil effect will change it for good
Omar Biltaji mine softened over the next few days. It’s been months now and I’m still really happy with the result 👍
Yea I’m happy too. But I think I over did it with the oil. It’s pretty dark! Should I sand it again and reinstall oil?

I wanna try it i have the light brown leather apple case. The color is two light. I can get sand paper but what was the last item you used? the block?
