    cool tutorial as always! What's the secret to avoid the brushes lines while you are priming the foam? It looks super smooth without lines

    • @KinpatsuCosplay
      @KinpatsuCosplay  Před 3 lety +2

      Use PVA glue! PVA is amazing for priming because all the brush strokes go away and the surface is really smooth. You can also wet sand it. I tried to use flexbond and hexflex at some point and both are much harder to get rid of the lines. PVA glue is less flexible but it's smoother so it's great for props . We are using montmarte PVA glue here. We used to use alcolin glue in South Africa :3

    Im making these in a few weeks, and wanted advice on the idea I had for the back. I was gonna just make it blue like the main part, but I just realized that in More, Kai’Sa is flying while the back glows purple, so I was thinking, line the back with the vinyl, but in purple, then line the rim with stick on leds. Do you think that would look good?

    The glue priming will help the paint to be flexible and not crack during bending right? Or is it the paint itself is flexible after drying?

    • @KinpatsuCosplay
      @KinpatsuCosplay  Před 3 lety +1

      PVA glue us not a super flexible primer. It can crack if there is a lot of bending. If you want a lot of flexibility I would use flexbond or hexflex primer. But unfortunately this has more brushstrokes and is not as smooth as PVA glue! 😱 Also yes airbrush paint is also quite flexible after drying.
