PM you can't say UN sanctioned the referendum. This is an issue of secession which international law does not recognise. This is also an issue of external Self determination which remedial secession will not be recognised.
Marape must understand that moderators do not have the legitimacy to decide on Bougainville.

Give Bougainville political Independence whilst economicdecisionsremain at Waigani. "Let my people go" says president. It was not only Bougainvilleans fought for their own freedom. There have been Hela, Engans and other upper highlanders who support BRA in combat. Our highlands fathers who were labours working in Bougainville joint arms with Bougainville.
