  • Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas dissected the Pogera Mine issue and questioned why concerns were never raised in Cabinet.
On Friday during the news conference of the new opposition members, most said they defected due to what they claim were erratic decisions by the Prime Minister.
Governor Ipatas also spoke to Adelaide Sirox Kari at the Gala dinner last night.

Why do we need foreign investors in PNG, like the Late Stanley Pil once said,"PNG businessmen can own gold mines", why are our politicians fighting for Barrick??? Its about time we PNG owned our own resources rather than collecting scraps given to us by the investors. Consider this, landowners get paid a minority royalty, I'm assuming its 2%, large spin-off contracts are given back to the investing country's contractors, all profits made here are paid to shareholders in the country from which the investor company originated from.
Thank you PMJM for standing up to Barrick,
    You are you father's son

Marape is trying to benefit the people and not the politicians pig bellies. PM JM for 2022!

What is the point when the PM is too arrogant and selfish. Those who are still with the Govt are trying to milk as much as possible before defecting on the floor of the Parliament
