He left two kids to join the war and never to be seen again. One of the guys he left with came back but him and the other guy never returned. I was a little girl then around 4 years but I remember him very well because he was my favorite uncle and he loved me so much only to find him gone forever

In 1980 all these places should have been CLEARLY marked so that the reburials would be easy there are villagers who witnessed this with clear records time has moved some sights/ graves have vanished I saw this in ' 78 going to school it was frightening it sent chills , you could eat not even a cup of tea, the erupting of gun fire in a contact it was terrific ..thank God we survived felt it , saw it , witnessed it , experienced it ..we lost 5 of thm near our school very sad 2 of them were killed in my grannys garden ..contact started around 06.00 am in month Feb to about 12.00 pm
