  • Varun Singh is a freshman studying Engineering and Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College, one of the best science, math and engineering colleges in the world. Crimson Education is the world leader in global admissions consulting. Find out more, and apply for a free education assessment here: crmsn.tv/FreeConsultation
Harvey Mudd is home to only 800 undergrads, but is nonetheless one of the world's best colleges for studying STEM fields, providing its undergrads with Bachelors of Science from some the best faculty in their disciplines. Mudd students are also able to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities, both academic and extracurricular, at four other colleges in the Claremont College Consortium, or the "5 C's" (Harvey Mudd, Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Pitzer, and Pomona). While Mudd is the most STEM-focused school in the consortium, it allows students to branch out. Outside of his studies, Varun plays in an Orchestra with students at other Claremont Colleges, and takes humanities and social science courses as well.
Follow a day in Varun's life and learn about the unparalleled opportunities, academic rigor, tight community, student culture, and more at Harvey Mudd College!

It’s not where you start out in life it’s where you end up. Where do you want to go? The fact that you watched this tell me you’re trying to level up and are curious what it takes. You can work on your coding outside of school at a boot camp.

@Rafael Arturo Mateo Núñez well yes but actually no. Privates give a lot of merit scholarships. My older bro is going to McKenna, one of the Claremont colleges for full ride. But my other bro, goes to a public and has to pay more cause they are more stingy with the financial aid. They both had similar stats in high-school, its just that privates give "blind" financial aid, which means they solely look at merit rather than income
Edit: Also, a lot of companies will hire you straight out of college just because you went to a prestigious one. Very elitist, but it is what it is.
