Daniel Rosen is a sophomore at Pomona College in the Claremont College Consortium, where he studies Mathematics and Computer Science, and is a top 10 nationally ranked runner. Daniel studies mathematics and computer science with some of the best STEM faculty in the world, in a small, liberal arts environment. Pomona College is the top ranked liberal arts college in the United States (Forbes) and is one of the "5Cs", or the five colleges in the Claremont College Consortium. Pomona's place within the Consortium (which also includes Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Harvey Mudd and Pitzer) gives its students the best of both worlds -- students have access to the resources and world-class faculty of a large research university, with the small, tight-knit community of a small liberal arts college. Outside of the classroom, Daniel is the 7th ranked steeple chase runner in the country, and spends much of his time beyond studying and coding with the cross country running team, both training and competing. Follow a day in Daniel's life, and learn about Pomona's incredible Mathematics and CS programs, the beautiful campuses and tight-knit community of the Claremont Colleges, and how Daniel balances his rigorous academics with an intense practice schedule as a student-athlete!

The Claremont colleges are such a beautiful campus for all the colleges. I was raised in Pomona and my dad was the first black head of school please in the 70s.
He doesn’t move his arms when he walks.
and when he talks
Haha, you used the Chariots of Fire music and theme ❤️
All these college days in my life are suspiciously positive, I need something that is a bit raw, I am not saying pomona is bad but with everything college comes its ups and downs and if I apply their I want to know if the cons out weigh the pros or vice versa. No college is perfect and I don't want to have a glorified view of a college and then be upset when I actually get their. So what I am trying to say is I need a clear view of what I am diving into...so can these vids be more thorough.
it might be possible that these students are just THAT happy at their colleges.
If you watch college vloggers you usually see more of the ups and downs. I watched a lot when deciding what school to do to
OlYMPIA JORJI you’re probably not getting into a good college if you don’t know your theirs, there and they’re...
Connor Hart I apologize for my grammatical mistakes but I don't think you should determine whether I get into a good college because I made a couple of grammatical mistakes this is just my personal opinion if you took offense to it once again I apologize. Word of advice, I wrote my comment quickly so you saying that I won't get into a good college because of a frivolous youtube comment is indicative of the person you are which is highly judgememtal. Connor try respectful critism.
@oOlYMPIA JORJI I go to Pomona College and wanted to say--it is a really great experience. The campus is beautiful, most professors are very good, and the kids are friendly and extremely diverse in terms of race, nationality, hobbies, etc.

I was a pomona student for two years before I almost killed myself there. Everyone else excelled. I guess I never found my niche. Never found that professor to be a mentor and guide my life or whatever like everyone around me seemed to. Honestly I'm pretty sure my advisor there hasnt even noticed I left. But only like 4% of admitted fail like me, so if youre considering attending your chances are pretty good. Most people make it.
