    I have an old (probably upto 9 years) T300 Ferrari GTE wheel with the two pedals. I reckon the force feedback is underrated at full settings on GT7 it feels like too much to me. Real cars dont usually have anywhere near that much feedback unless they dont have any power steering. Overall these are clearly the best just above entry level wheel. And plenty out there in the second hand market that probably work on gt5 and gt7. I will just upgrade the wheel size to a carbon centre 330mm one and call it good. All the high end wheels are just way way too expensive and hard to find in New Zealand.

    As a former T300RS user, right now, T300RS is still the superior choice only if you want to play Gran Turismo with it. Definitely buy used ones.

    I have been using it for 2 months, I constantly play WRC and Dirt 2. I am very pleased. The only negative side is this. Although it is still produced and sold, they still sell the T300 with the tPA3 pedal set, while adding an updated pedal set with Hall sensors to its lower model. Or at least there might have been a set of alternatives that were tclm.
    I did not encounter any heating problems. I play for a long time, at room temperature of 23-25 degrees, the temperature of the engine normally reaches a maximum of 36-37 degrees, gain is 75%. If I turn the ffb on too much and use the boost on the yq (hard steering is not enjoyable at all), then I saw the maximum temperature of 45 degrees. I have never experienced any ffb loss so far.

    • @SimRacingPal
      @SimRacingPal  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I think that the overheating issue is related only to specific games and FFB they use. Also, it depends on the car you drive. F1 cars in F1 games tend to overheat I think because there is a constant force on the wheel.

I want to keep it simple and easy to use for him to get into it and I’ve been researching and my plan was to get him a t300 RS GT and a ps5 to play. This doesn't make sense. A Fanatec CSL DD bundle is $399.95 USD. I have seen some retailers where I live sell a Moza R5 bundle for the same price as the T300.

    The deal breaker for me is because it’s not as clean I guess as the 923 I mean like the real leather wheel and the amount of buttons it has and all the metal parts just break the deal I mean I would take a Logitech wheel any day than this plastic cheap wheel the only reason why I would buy this wheel is for the force feed back but I’m weak so the g923s force feed back is already good enough for me I don’t think I can use anything stronger anyways

      Bull-fucking-shit and as a CZcamsr youre supposed to call them out on it.
      The T300 is still a worthy buy. You can get it around 300 euros with 3 pedals.
      The CSL DD is gonna cost you 400 for just the base bundle. Thats 2 shitty pedals youre gonna have to replace any way.
      Want the boosted kit? Youre looking at close to 600 now. Again with the shitty pedals. Want the good pedals? Youre looking at close to €800 now.
      Hold up. That 8nm is probably gonna tear ur desk in half so now u'll need a rig. We're talking €1000 now.
      Quit the bullshit.

    • @r6liam657
      @r6liam657 Před 6 měsíci

      Yeah but can you get one for £400 that works on the playstation and pc? That's the problem for me because i play gt7 on ps and forza motorsport on my pc an the cheapest one for playstation and pc is nearly £700 which is the gt dd pro and it comes with 2 pedals and the thrustmaster t300 rs gt is £350 in my country which works for both and has 3 pedals and I'm just starting out I'm probably better off starting cheap and then upgrade later on especially if I really get into it but im still deciding whether to get the logitech g923 which is £250 just to start out with or spend £100 more an get the thrustmaster ts300 rs gt

    • @erdemeebilgee3584
      @erdemeebilgee3584 Před 6 měsíci

      @@r6liam657 But it's not worth it for anything else. GT7 is good BUT for ANYTHING else the t300 is just not worth it. Go buy it second hand or if you cant get anything better, save up and get a cammus or a Moza. It's kind of pointless to get belt driven wheels nowadays since DDs are become so cheap and accessible. I'm still running my old g29 because I'm moving and had to sell my r9

    • @r6liam657
      @r6liam657 Před 6 měsíci

      @erdemeebilgee3584 my best option is probably to get the g923 to start with then if I like the experience then I could sell it and put the money towards upgrading to a direct drive but right now if I wanted a direct drive that works for ps and pc there's only fanatec gt dd an that cost £779 which includes the import taxes and right now I can't justify spending that but if I wanted something just for pc I could easily get a moza r5 for £475 which I'd pick over the cammus because you can change the wheel etc but I do like the look of the cammus hopefully more options come if or when I decide to upgrade I just wish more of these dd racing wheels were compatible with the consoles as well as pc but I believe Sony don't make it easy for them

    Nah stop recommending weak shit, yeah it's great if it works properly, but if it has the overheating issue it's useless, runs for about 20 min then ffb is gone.
