- Back in 2020, I started this course called "Mastering the Logo Grid" and it went super popular among many of my designer followers and friends.
I decided to put out this video where I share my passion for Logo Grids and how I applied many of these tools within an actual hands-on logo design in Adobe Illustrator. As I've been working on a new course on logo design in general and more advanced Logo Grid techniques, I wanted to share more in-depth information and examples on how I apply my grids to the logos I create.
Although this video is created almost 2 years back, I still think many of these approaches and techniques are still part of my creative workflow.

Amazing logos but i am still confused i still can't understand how to make logos with grids just want to know os there any your course available where i can find a to z guide about grid logos how it made and how it works ?
Hello. sorry for my late reply - I am not super active here lately. Truth is, you need to learn the basics of illustrator about making and using grids. Then you can tweak and adjust these grids to help you 'guide' to perfect balance your logo outcome.
Wait, so you use the grid *after* you made the design??
Hello, yes, grids are only for technical guidance. I use grids to finetune my designs. It shouldn’t start from a grid, unless you want to make something super technical or abstract. I sometimes start with a grid as well. So basically, there are more ways to look at this.

Bro how to know which Grid is use for different shapes and size in logo design confused 😕
I have the same question.
I usually create a logo in a random grid first. Once happy, I rebuild the design (if needed) in a more minimal and logical grid size. All to help minimize the design and simplify corners and details.

Tell me what I got wrong.
You designed logo according to document grid not logo grid. In other videos they make logo grid and join shapes with shape builder tool. Here you made logo and then you draw logo grid around it. Isn't that reverse process?
Great logos but I would like an answer from you or anyone that is familiar with logo designing. I'm trying to learn about this. Would appreciate help.
I mix up the approach on this actually. As it also depends on the logo you have envisioned to create. Some use the shape builder tool and some don’t (I don’t). It’s a matter of experiences and preference to make these grids. Sometimes I start a logo from a grid, and sometimes I create grids once a design is made. For technical guidance.
