How to design a logo with golden Ratio | Adobe Illustrator Tutorial.
Many designers search for a good tutorial about golden ratio and how to use it in logo design, I was searching for it before and I found a hard time to find good resources but there is never the good explained video.
So, today, I tried my best to explain how to use the golden ratio in logo design and how to make a logo using golden circles.
I will make many other videos related to this topic and I will explain how to use the different golden ratio method, like the golden spiral.
In this tutorial I will show you:
How to make the golden rectangle.
How to extract the golden circles from it.
How to use the golden ratio to design a logo directly on illustrator.
How to use the golden ratio to grid a sketch and make a perfect logo design.

Honestly, one of the most clean tutorials i've seen. I'm no expert or anything, but your tutorial is in self, an inspiration to experiment and to just enjoy the process along the way. With this i found a lot of ways to use the tools provided. Thank you good sir :)
Honestly first thing that made me want to subscribe is that there's no loud cringy dubstep background music. Also, the pace of the talk is so easy to listen to and I understood everything! I'm making my first logos and this is my favourite channel from now on. Bird chirping is so calming!

This reminds me of the circle stencils I had as a child and teenager. I used them to design on paper of what we now call fonts and other stuff. This is very helpful with creating design.

Now this is it! While other tutorials provide quick sketch using those golden ratio circles, you explained in details about the design process. It is really helpful!

If you double-click the scale tool and set the value of uniform scale to 161.8% you can easily increase elements by the golden ratio.
and to decrease elements, the value of uniform scale is 61.8% ? right?

That was a great tutorial. Mr. Achraf, Very well planned and executed
I was trying this technique and learned using values to mathematically imitate this
1st square - 560 px
2nd square - 350 px
3rd square - 210 px
4th square - 140px
5th square - 70px
Use these values for the circles and align them

Yo you're smart
you can do it with any number as long as goes with the Fibonacci sequence (x=xn-1+xn-2) so, 3rd square= 140 + 70
These values don't adhere to the ratio though. The golden ratio is ~1.618, and 560/350 is not equal to that ratio.

Thank you. This is the simplest and yet the most effective explanation on golden Ratio design I've ever seenl. Borrowed this helpful idea to create a resizeable chart of circles for composition purposes.

At the end when you were adding shadows and highlights with the pen and arc tool, why didn’t you use one of the golden circles?
