  • Video #1 of Fall Cleanup. This day I switched equipment around for new tasks at hand. It was time to chip away at the sapling pile. Although it was a bit green and leafy, the Woodland Mills WC68 handled it like a champ. Plus, I start my sticker collection with a brand new design and sticker from a great friend here on CZcams.

Thanks, Ben. Wasn't super impressed with this video. The sticker part was the highlight. Videographers cramp. Thanks for watching though.

Hey Dave! I am using a very similar style of chipper to the Woodland Mills. It's the Woodmax TM86 - H. I purchased it probably 10 years ago....before I even heard of Woodland Mills. It looks like they operate identically. I think for a non-production operation, they are an incredible value. Great job!

I'll have to check that one out. 10 years is a good amount of time. Mine will definitely have paid for itself but then. Thanks for watching!

Nice video. I guess that I am going to need to get a chipper for the L2502.....and stickers. Subbed, liked and watched complete. Great job!

I like your channel but I am here for showing what the tractor can do. With the chipping I would like to see where you are going to chip to then after you chipped it then what you are going to do with the pile. Also how big of sticks the chipper can handle and a closer look at what the chips look like. Yes video is tricky to get what everybody likes. Oh yeah I love the sped up chipping. Just keep getting better and one day your channel will explode.

Thanks for the feedback Walter. I have another video in editing phase now that might be a little more to your liking. I haven't done anything with the chips yet but those will find a home soon. Thanks for your support.

I hear ya Alex. Those saplings I chipped were wet from being piled and all the rain we've had this year. Managed to chip most of it ok though. You'll be up and running soon. 😉

How do you prefer to chip it? Dry or green?

    • @BeginnerforBSeries

@@brokenpinesfarm I think dry. But it chipped the green just fine. The only issue I had was the wood was all wet because it sat in a pile with leaves and a wet ground for such a long period of time. Then at the end of my second day of chipping, which I have not done a video of yet, it eventually clogged up the shute a little bit and the belt ended up slipping up a bit. I caught it early though.

Do yourself a favor go to harbor freight and buy two dollies and fasten a piece of plywood on them and store the chipper on it. You’ll be able to maneuver the chipper into place vs a back injury
