I watched this with my roommate on the floor of our dorm freshman year in 2012 😂 I'm sure we streamed it somewhere after googling disturbing movies lol

I adore this film, but i am always surprised when it's labelled 'hardcore' or 'extreme'. I don't think it's gratuitous in any way but was effective in telling the story it wanted to tell. Unfortunately, most of the events have happened in various true crime cases which I understand is the disturbing aspect however I have seen it on lists with a Serbian film or the human centipede 2 which to me is ridiculous.

It’s an awesome movie and one of my favorites but it does make you feel really dirty afterwards. I can see how it would be too much for normal people who only watch studio films lol

It was too good. I think its the most disturbing film of the genre.
