Islamabad, Pakistan ➖It's finally time to head up north and into the mountains. After a short with PIA airlines (rated as OK from me) we walked out to hundreds of people in ISB. I was expecting to be hassled about wanting a taxi or something along those lines. But much to my surprise, not a single person approached me (props to you Pakistan).
I finally found my careem driver and we made our way out of the airport and I was amazed to see the lush greenery and mountains surrounding the city. It really is a warm welcome.
I checked into my Air Bnb, which will be the new crib for a couple of days and it was so worth it! Everything is better than the previous place I was staying at and it was significantly cheaper, just $30AUD per night. After I settled in, I went for a walk to the local supermarket and got a lime soda, a new nose ring and the kind gentleman bought me a cheese paratha.
Overall, Islamabad is an amazing city. There is so much greenery and everything works smoothly unlike my experiences in Karachi. Also, the WEATHER! It is the perfect temperature all day and you can't forget the blue skies!

Unbelievable hospitality. A jeweller refuses to take money for his product then takes you to a food joint pays for your food reminds you his availability for any help.Just amazing. This speaks volumes about the hospitable nature and respect for a guest in the subcontinent. Sadly there are few mischief makers who have really spoiled the image of the great nations in South Asia.

My friend! You may be right. I also agree that you may be right that this is the policy of Imran Khan's government, and these are his paid bloggers. But ordinary Pakistanis and their hospitality are real. They are not being paid for their hospitality and good manners. The beauty of cities doesn't just depend on beautiful buildings and gardens. What makes a town beautiful is the hospitality and good manners of its inhabitants. And Pakistani citizens have both the qualities. Yes ISIS murdered millions of innocent Muslims and raped innocent Muslim women, doesn't it make you question what kind of a person would kill his own type of people??? What rule of war says you can kill your own?? Friendly fire and civilian massacre is a heinous crime and ISIS does that. If they're really fighting for Muslims why would they behead their own brothers???? even here abroad most indians avoid us at first. they even avoid eye contact, i wear pakistani clothes usually and i wear hijab too and we speak urdu too, they can clearly identify us as pakistanis. they smile at other but never returns smile to us, this is sad. but when they recieve kindness they become kind too. so basically its not that indians are rude, they are misinformed.
