- We're at Statfold and Luke had brought along a 4" Burrell that's up for sale, so we got the chance to give it a good look over.
The events we expect to be at this year looks like......
17th-19th May Fawley Hill
25th-27th May Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway, Toddington Station
1st-2nd June Trout Inn, Lechlade
8th-9th June Wiltshire Steam and Vintage, Broadtown Brewery
28th-30th June Bloxham Steam Rally
13th-14th July Rona Rally
20th-21st July West Oxfordshite Steam Rally
26th-28th July Bocconoc Steam Rally, Cornwall
2nd-4th August South Cerney Vintage Extravaganza
16th-18th August Fairford Steam Rally
31st-1st Septemer North Cotswold Steam Rally, Northleach
21st-22nd September Stoke Prior Rally
28th-29th September Kettering Steam Rally
We may not get to all of them, but certainly expect to be at most if not all of the above.

This gets me in the mood for a 4 inch we've been looking at, we have all the kit for transport and what not it's just about making the full commitment.
There's no doubt that it's a big commitment, but well worth it I think.

Great video. Do you know what the average speed on the road is of the 4 inch engine and your Garrat?
Max for the Garrett is about 10mph. For the Burrell it would be similar, or maybe a little higher. Gets pretty scary though with no suspension. You need to be on a good surface for that.
