Super late here, but you can also buy pig food bags from the store (pallets) and it fills up each food type equally. Great when just starting out!

thanks for the tutorial :) I'm glad when you feed them it stops when you have enough in there of one crop instead of overfeeding one thing and making a complicated formula

Pigs produce (besides manure) bacon and spare ribs. The cornerstone of any healthy diet. As a sideeffect you allso get some porkchops.

Ive worked on an animal farm. I can tell you we didnt clean up food off the ground. Ever. That why I use the mod in the portal that disables the cleaning bit

i went for sugar beets, since the machine used to plant them is hte same one you use for corn.. so you only need 1 sower for both types.

How many do you need for adequate manure and slurry production for fertilising your fields.
Could you drop a pile of straw on the unload area and it is just slowly used from that pile?

Gary Parkin, u need to sell the wool that the sheep produce. Look at mooses vid on sheep. I find that sheep are easier to handle and bring in way more profit than anything else. Anyway just some advice, u might want to go and watch mooses vid on the sheep 👍🏻

It has to be in one play session. They were definitely the most difficult achievements to obtain.

I have seen in shop they have Pig Feed (with seeds & fertilizer). Can you just use that if your starting out? Or is it more economical to produce your own?

how to load moe than 1 pig at a time.
Do you have to give them crop from each group or can I just give wheat, soybeans etc.
To get their productivity to 100% you have to give them food from each group.
Moose2006LP Ok great because I have not started root crop yet and am not planning on it soon
Amrit K You do have to give them root crops, so you will need to give them either sugar beets or potatoes if you want to get to 100% productivity. But one beet crop will provide you with more than enough beets to feed them for quite some time since you get so many from a field. You also don't need to buy the machines for the harvest, you could just lease them and do the harvest and then return it. So don't worry too much about spending a lot of money just to get some sugar beets or potatoes.
how do you return items?
I'm not a farmer but I've checked several guides, and nobody is explaining how the straw works in the game. I dont know where to get the straw (I think I do, but I'm not sure). Most guides tell me to use a Straw Blower, but no one shows how it works. Do I pull up with straw in a trailer and just "dump" it? Do I leave it and then use the blower? Do I NEED straw just to make them breed? If I use a straw blower, the guides tell me to use a Skid Steer to load bales into the shredder -- but I have no idea what those things are. I just want to get a stupid achievement for breeding 50 pigs, I don't need to understand how everything works, I just want get my pigs to fuck so I can move on to another game:(

Straw is for the bedding. If you provide straw the animals will generate solid manure. Also I believe you can achieve 100% productivity only if you give them the straw - at least it was that way in previous FS.
sounds like giant not only needs to slow down the cleanliness decline, but to also slow down the breeding rate (they might want to save the program in case they deside to add me....!!!...??? I mean bunny rabbits :P
