I will be reflecting on my Life changing 20-year journey in Canada, and sharing 10 life changing lessons learned living in Canada while navigating through a new environment, diverse culture and embracing my personal growth. I will be bringing to light the profound impact Canada has had on my life as an immigrant and sharing the wisdom I've gained through life lessons and experiences while living in Canada.

Hmmm make una listen ooo. As an someone who did the Canada dance and who returned back to Nigeria 10 years ago. I endorse her counsel, passing knowledge is what supports generational survival and properity. She is saving you decades of hard lessons with this. Especially the younger immigrants in their mid 20s or early 30s.
So you don leave us go Nigeria abi to enjoy yourself🌝. I really appreciate your comment and believe that knowledge is power. This is why I’m actually trying to enlighten people with my own experiences. So that they don’t make mistake that will set them 10 to 20 years back like you said. Thank you😌.

My Scottish manager taught me something. She said, " You should never be loyal to any company or work place. Run once you find a better opportunity." So when i quit that job, she was not ahocked and she was the person that encouraged me.
Most times, loyalty for employers is not worth it. Your manager is surely one of the rare ones and i'm glad you made the rite choice.
I've learned something new today ❤
The highest I have worked for a firm was 6yrs when they started cutting out annual leave from 26 days to only 16 days, I knew the worse is coming ..I resigned even without any job ..my colleagues saw it as madness...trust me that gave me enough time to rest and look for another job..behold I got a job in 6 weeks ..in those 6weks I visited everywhere and enjoy myself like never before....I enter my new job with great freshness.
😂🤣😁You foresaw your future and said they ain't gon use me play...( sharp guy).

True story!
I worked at a hospital from 2018-2021. There was a woman who worked there 20 plus years, she never took vacations, she came in very early everyday, and I ended my shift before her. Long story short, this woman left work one day, got admitted to the hospital, she ended up passing at the age of 49. They contributed just a thousand dollars to her daughter College account, this is a woman that worked for a company for 20 plus years. Less then a month later someone else was sitting in her seat…
49 years old wow that's is still so young. I can imagine how much she overworked herself just for compliments and possibly a coffee mug/chocolate as reward at the company end of the year Christmas dinners🤦🏾♀️. Anyways maybe that's where she found her happiness(may she rest in peace).

Thank you for this video. I really liked the advice, especially the food aspect. When I was back home as a kid, things like juice or coca-cola or fanta were only given to me once or twice a year, as a result of poverty. It actually took a miracle to eat chicken or meat. I can relate to the "dollarama effect" when I came here and could afford all the sweet things I didn't have access to back home. Disaster! I now pay attention to my diet as if my life depends on it. Linda is the best!
I found my dollarama treats sister😂. Life is phases rite? We went through it but now we wiser. So don’t you worry. What matters is that we got ourselves back on track🫡. Next time u enter there keep yr eyes on dish sponge(main target)😅🤣
