Just like mine in 1970 but mine was white inside. God I miss mine! As, for mine was, a. Long more power it turn 12.40 with Goodyear slicks
I got a 64 SS convertible being worked on.. when done will have 572 crate blown on a custom frame that'll the doors off most cars.

Any chance you have the paint code for that turquoise paint??!! It’s beautiful and I’ve been looking for a paint for a 67 chevelle I’m rebuilding in my garage.
I want to know that paint code too because all the turquoise I’m seeing has more of a green tint to it

Awesome 70 Chevelle👍... only have a couple discrepancies. You discuss that it's an LS2 which is nice. But don't they have any other aftermarket covers besides the ones that say Corvette? I can't see spending all that money on a build and seeing the word Corvette when you pop the hood.. I think it needs some better mufflers it didn't sound as good as what it could.. other than that super nice car..I'm Jealous still👍
I would make some custom engine covers that look exactly like the Corvette ones, but say "Chevelle"

Great Chevelle! I didn't hear you talk about the function of the shifter. I have a detent plate that lets you convert it to a True Slap shifter. You can add alot of fun and safety to your ride. I've sold hundreds and they work awesome! No one else offers the features I have that let you simply slap the shifter forward for the 1-2 shift, and the same again fir the 2-3 shift. There's no need to squeeze and hold the trigger tight for either shift, unlike the detents my competition has been selling.

Those are not big bodied cars, put it next to an impala and see how small the Chevelle is, shoot next to a modern car the Chevelle is small
