Thank you to everyone who supported me on my last video and to everyone struggling with a room like mine or with mental health in general, you are not alone. This time around wasn’t as easy for me. Its never easy but I was so unmotivated the entire time. And was interrupted by the Valley Fire. After getting evacuated and once I got back home, it took me another week and a half to get back to it. I sat around a lot and got very distracted throughout the clean up process. This video was made over the course of a month unlike last video where I knocked everyday out In a row. My next video I wanna get rid of 75% of my things using the Konmari Method and please keep leaving me tips and tricks on how to keep a clean and organized room.
    * I will be starting a advice podcast for people struggling with healthy habits, cleaning, keeping tidy and all things mental health where people who are also struggling can connect and help each other grow. i have unfortunately not had success with medications and doctors and sometimes it helps to hear what has worked for people dealing with the same issues. whether you were born with your problems or trauma, a breakup, or life just got in the way, i want to create a place where we can normalize what we are going through and the reality of mental health and what it can look like by having a cumulative goal of being better and getting healthier. Email Joybellpeppers1@gmail.com with your story and situation, how you think you got there and what you've been diagnosed with, you can also include a picture or video of your situation. all will be anonymous and in the comment people with the same things can give advice on what worked for them. this is not just for cleaning tips and hack it's for all things attached to your mental health. I will be releasing new videos on the 1st of October 2022.

Exactly! Its just clutter from people living in a house and it takes an hour to get it back in shape. That's not that impressive. They also seem to throw around the term hoarder a lot too and I dont think that applies to most people. I think you just get in a habit when you live in a place, especially long term, where you keep things because you have room for them. Then one day you realize you dont even need the stuff because you havent touched it in years.

Hard to give you advise on that. I guess you have to find a way to keep it clean on your terms and your mental health is coming in your way a lot. But you can try and implement a routine. I clean my room at least once a week which means i put away everything, wash my clothes and vacuum. I think that may be not possible for you, but your environment does have an effect on your mental health too. And when you keep this in mind, this is something you can control relativly easy. Maybe cleaning once a week is not working for you but you can try and start putting away a few items per day and throwing trash in the garbage bin. Make it as easy as possible for you and put the garbage bin beside your bed where you seem to spend most time of the day. Same with the clothes hamper. Try and force yourself to put the clothes in there. You don't have to wash them immediatly but keep them off the floor. And you don't have to do it all in one day. I guess you feel really overwhelmed when you have to clean everything in one go but you can split in severaly sittings. I also love to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while cleaning. It makes everything easier for me. best whishes so far

Sounds pretty good. And it's ok if you don't achieve the cleaning goal. Every little step is more than nothing at all. And sometimes there are bad days when your room can wait. But every other day at least try to change something. It is not a magic cure for mental health problems but I guess everyone feels a littler bit better in a freshly made bed.

When your mental health is down cleaning can be hard and daunting but if you make it a short task it doesn’t feel so bad. Speaking from my experience of course everyone is different but just a tip ☺️.

One of the biggest things that help me clean when I can’t is having someone with me. They don’t even have to do anything important, or anything at all, but the emotional support is amazing. They can keep you on task and motivated. And they can help with super simple things, like the basic trash and clean up, and you can do the organizing/putting away. It really helps to not feel like you’re alone and helpless. Obviously, this takes a very special person to help, and I hope you have them. If not, I hope you find them soon. The biggest relationship advice (not just romantic) is to find someone that can support you and that you feel like you can turn to in times like these

I dont know if anyone else mentioned this, but this is something I heard mentioned in a lot of cleaning tips, always have a place for your things. So bags boxes baskets those kinds of things. That way even if it is messy it is hidden or not too bad. Once I understood this, I have gotten much better at keeping things clean. So anything and everything keep it in a place where it belongs. Give it a home. My mom used to say the same thing but I never learned/ understood this. This has really helped me a lot in keeping my place clean and my mind stress free.

Don't change yourself to work with your environment, change your environment instead! Do you throw trash off the side of your bed instead of getting up? Put a trash can next to your bed. Do you keep snacks in your room and save them for later? Have a shelf or drawer where you can put them away safely, that way you won't step on them and they won't attract pests. Love to have your favorite things out at all times? Get shelving. Hate folding or hanging up clothes? Use the no-fold laundry method. Figure out what you are doing and ask "how can I keep doing this without making a mess?".

Having a designated spot for everything is such a good one. And If you can’t come up with a designated spot for something it probably doesn’t mean much to you and is a good reason to let it go. Whew! I bet that feels so good! Looking after our space, giving ourselves a nice, clean, tidy, relaxing place to live in, is a vital part of daily self care, just like painting our nails or doing our hair etc... Once you put it in place some strict, healthy routines, like the one touch method (putting your cup/plate straight in the dishwasher as soon as you're finished with it without putting it down anywhere else, or taking your clothes off and dropping them straight into the hamper etc...) it becomes so easy! I am a recovering slob, and I suffered situational depression because of it, so I know first-hand the viscous cycle it becomes. Once you take control of your physical space you can take better care of your mental space ❤

Hey girl, I suggest starting the process of ‘resetting your room’ every night. It’s the process of using your space, but then before you go to bed or even when you first wake up, you pick up the items from the night before. Laundry goes in the basket, dishes in the sink/dishwasher and so on. It will really help you maintain the space and then when you’re ready you can de clutter. Less stuff means less to clean. Please at minimum focus on the food items. The more you leave out the more likely you’ll get roaches and that’s when you have a big problem. Good luck!

    Couple random tips!
    - I like to have 2 laundry baskets; one for actually dirty clothes and the other for clothes that I may wear again or just tried on. Keeps random clothes off the floor and easier for me to go through when I get to it.
    - When cleaning or organizing I always ask myself; do I love it, need it or just want it?
    - "Doing something poorly is better than not doing it at all." This quote changed my life. I had OCD which prevented me from starting something unless I knew I would complete it perfectly. So set small goals for yourself like make your bed everyday even if its not perfect. Accomplishing small goals will help build motivation
    - I pray for your mental darling. Been there and its a rough boat but the seas always settle eventually. God bless you!

I have once read of a tip and I don't know if anyone else mentioned it in the comments but everytime you get out of bed take something with you and put it in its place, for example, I pick up a cup or two out of my room to take to the kitchen if I'm already on my way there. If I'm walking to the bathroom I pick up the socks on my floor to put in the laundry basket. If I'm going to my closet I might as well pick up some clean clothing lying around, quickly fold it and put it in my closet. It's the little things but they can help make a difference. I think you're great and the best part of it is seeing you try your best.

Thank you for sharing this with us all - know you are not alone and I'm sure this will help so many people.
Without repeating any other advice, I can't stress strongly enough how important that everything has a place so that it can return to it when you've used it. I see you put a lot of things in rubbish bags both to dispose and keep - but this doesn't seem to help you. You have a tonne of storage space and nothing appears to be hung up or folded. Perhaps get some hangers and some drawers and go through all your clothes. Invest in a wash basket with sections (whites and darks) so you separate as you go. Keep a station next to your bedroom door for your plates and cups, this is the only place for them until you take to your kitchen - last thing you need is bugs in your room. Invest in a chair for clothes you wish to re-wear before washing and when that piles up go through it. But never keep your clothes on the floor. Change both bins weekly - again no bugs! Lastly keep your bed clear, this should be your sanctuary. Take as much or as little of this as you wish - I just wanted to share a few tips so you don't have such a mammoth task every few months. Good luck and be well 😊

Mental health can be such an obstacle when it comes to keeping things clean and organized! I usually struggle with picking up my room too, so I ended up getting rid of A LOT of my stuff. Having less things can really help maintain an area clean. I would look into donating or throwing out stuff you don’t really need anymore, possibly try and consume less too because the more stuff you buy will only add to the bulk too.
Keep going though! You’re doing a great job and any progress is progress. If we’re watching another clean up video in a few months that’s okay! The point is that you’re able to do this 💪🏼💖

This is what i learned growing up and I hope it helps or gives ideas. When you cook clean as you go and when you are done eating just go ahead and clean your dishes/put them in the dishwasher. This saved me a ton of time and a big headache. Dishes never pile up.
I spend around 15 minutes before bed just doing a once-over. Making sure counters are wiped down, if I ran the dishwasher I empty it, and making sure trash is picked up. If the trash needs to be taken out I go ahead and do that although sometimes I will leave it next to the door so I can grab it when I leave for work in the morning. It mostly depends on if it has an odor or has the potential to leak. It's nice to wake up to clean counters and an empty dishwasher.

Another tip would be to try to get rid of items every time you bring a new item into your space. This will be especially important with the holidays coming up. If you order something for yourself try to identify something to donate (or even better 2 things to donate!) If you get gifts for the holidays try to donate the same amount of items. This way you aren’t accumulating more and more items. Sadly, some people’s depression can turn into hoarding behaviors if buying habits and online shopping habits aren’t also kept in check.

Hi 💞 I hope you are well.
    Here are some tips 🖖🏽
-try small things like putting several trash bags inside the garbage so you don’t have to grab a new one every time.
-eat at your kitchen table. But if that’s too hard start off by only bringing bottled water in your room. Don’t eat or drink in there even if it’s water in a cup.
-this seems pretty obvious but I promise it works. Literally when you feel the urge to drop something in the wrong spot, make yourself put it where it belongs and you will feel so accomplished. It becomes second nature after a while.
    -journal how you’re feeling

I have several relatives in similar situations, staying on top of the housekeeping to outright hoarding and the underlying cause is the depression that runs in the family. Two of them (mother and daughter) swear by the the Flylady system and it has worked for them. I tend to go the opposite direction, compulsive minimalism of fear of ending up like some of them, but I've adapted aspects of her system to my lifestyle. I work long hours and travel a lot for business, so strategies like having a simple checklist routine and breaking tasks down into 15-minute blocks have helped keep the house hold squared away when I've felt like I have literally no time.

It’s always best to take small steps to stay on top of everything. Like when you first wake up, make your bed. If you can help it, try to not eat in the bedroom, I was guilty of bringing my meals or snacks into my room and leaving the dishes. I made myself stop and it something that I don’t have to worry about now. If you do bring food to your room, immediately throw it away or put the dishes in the sink. For drinking in your room, try and designate one glass that goes into your room. So the next day you know that you have to wash it out. Maybe get some some small storage bins from the dollar tree to store your products in your bathroom or around your room. Again just small steps and you cans find something that works for you :)

Definitely proud of you for pushing through your mental health issues or other life stuff and making yourself do it! I've definitely been there and its hard. One thing to keep in mind is that it's OK to ask for help! My mom, sister, and even friends have helped me when it's gotten really bad. I eventually got better with it but it took time, patience, and trying all different kinds of techniques to see what would work best and then making it a habit. Now that I'm in a decent paying career, my gift to myself was to hire a cleaning service to come every other week and do the whole house since it's pretty small. I was just getting overwhelmed with juggling that, my work, taking care of my elderly parents, and then wanting to take care of myself too. My cleaner doesn't do every single thing but it helps so much to take some of the load off of me. It's given me some real peace of mind and joy, so I'm happy to budget for it. I used the tidy app to find my cleaner, in case anyone is interested.

Oh, Honey, you are oh so brave! It is so difficult to keep our minds strong in these corona times. Usually we can leave home and come back during the day, and it's easier to maintain things in good order, but now we spend so much time at home we are always generating some mess, and if we are not constantly on it, it builds up to a degree where we cannot bring ourselves to deal with it cause it is so overwhelming. I struggle as well, to some extent, and I do believe that the key is not just having a cleaning schedule, but also exercising, to release endorphins to help maintain good mental health. Easier said than done, but the first step is always the hardest, as I am sure you know. We'll get better, 2020 won't last forever.

I saw one of your other videos and you said you have trouble staying organization. I used to be the same way, when life was super busy I had no time for cleaning here's somethings that have really helped me...
    1. Get rid of garbage right away.
    2. Put dishes in the sink right away.
    3. Down size your stuff. (If you have 10 coffee cups then you'll have 10 coffee cups laying around. 2 coffee cups means you push yourself to clean more) same with clothes, towels, crafts, whatever the less you have the less you need to put back.
    4. Lastly and most importantly stop being lazy if you don't feel like cleaning clean anyways. (Set a timer for 15 mins and that's all you need to do that day!)

Hello again! I am very glad you shared your tough moments with us again. I saw you added a bookcase to your room, this is one thing I kept thinking after seeing the last video, like, maybe you could be having a harder time keeping things tidy because the lack of storage spaces.
I believe it is okay not being able to spend full days cleaning, like you did on the other video. Maybe you could schedule a strip of your everyday time to do some cleaning, like, before showering to bed, you do one or two chores, and in case you do not feel like doing that day, next day you will have this appointment with yourself again. Not being able to do stuff one day does not define you forever, you can award yourself with as many fresh starts you need. Sending lots of love to you, here from Brazil! ❤️

To DEclUTTer what helps me is doing what you did in this & your last video to get it to a place where it's neat & somewhat clean & THEN declutter one area at a time. I get too overwhelmed to try & declutter in a messy space. Once things are neat I do one section at a time. I try to work on it until it is done so this way I can see progress & that helps keep me motivated. In each area I put like things together & that allows me to see what I have and that helps me get rid of things . And of course that is its own process. When I get emotionally stuck about getting rid of something I try to think of the person who might make better use of it than me. Def take breaks. Emotional exhaustion is real!! Once I have less... organizing is a bit simpler. And I find during the organization process usually I let go of more stuff.....bcse I feel lighter & freer the more stuff I get rid of. Also, sheets that fit your bed might help so they don't slip off while sleeping. Gather all of your boxes that you are getting rid of & break them down as flat as you can then they don't seem so overwhelming at least for me - we have to where I live anyway - then I tie them up to get rid of. It IS a process and we have to do our best to be gentle with ourselves....give ourselves some grace. You did great! Thank you so much for sharing this - I am in the market for some serious inspiration!! And you have helped me ♥

When cleaning, work in categories..like first take out everything that clearly doesn't belong in that room (dishes, dirty laundry etc). Then things that you already have a place like make up, hair-stuff etc. Then I'd take out big trash and work my way down. Keeping up with it seems to be a problem for you? Maybe try working with small steps with yourself..like have a big trashbag near your bed..you're more likely to use it if it's convenient. And try to find homes for the things you use. And Konmari works... only have things that make you happy and say goodbye to everything else. All the other stuff has worked it's purpose. I have similar problem but I've been working with small steps to overcome it and found ways that help me keep my home tidy. Good luck! You can overcome this!

Here are some tips, as you requested. #1 assign a place for a trash can big one in your living space that should ease-up most of little things in your floor. very easy to reach. #2 assign a place/container for to laundry, #3 a place/container for food, most importantly dedicate 1-2 hours a day to sort, or pick-up, or organize, or cleaning, or dusting, or put away a category. Example: one time it could be clothing, another could be tackling the bathroom, other possibly make-up drawer, other possibly your closet, you choose a little at a time daily or every other day. That will or should shorten these very long cleaning days for you. Eventually you will get good at it or better at it, you won't even know you are doing it. Baby steps!😁👍 good luck.

Im going to try to give some tips, from one messy person to another lol i know your doing a video where you get rid of most of your things and thats a perfect start!
    1) remove ANYTHING you dont find yourself using daily
    2) toss it or gift it if you dont ABSOLUTELY love it
    3) remind yourself that less is more, buying less means more money for something else and also less to clean up
    4) keep 7 pairs of each thing such as 7 shirts and 7 pants and 7 skirts etc one thing for each day of the week. itll give you less to wash and keep track of while still giving you plenty to wear.
    5) If you dont wear makeup often just toss it out all together, natural is way better and its less to wash off your face and more money to spend on other more useful things. you could put together a savings and never touch it until your needing a new place to live or a new car or anything else you need.
    6) save all those coins and dollars you find after each clean up and take it to a coin star and think of it as a present to yourself for cleaning up! you could go out for something to eat or buy a gift for someone else to make their day, that will make you feel amazing!
    7) put some shelves up in your room to help keep things off the floor
    8) Do a total room makeover with all new bedding and curtains and rugs etc, itll make you want to keep it clean!
    9) Donate all the stuff you decide to get rid of, the feeling of donating will make you feel so good that you will want to donate more and therefore you will eliminate the amount of stuff you have, and can from there work towards minimalism!
    10) keep in mind once you have completed your mission you wiil be able to breathe and enjoy your room and the things you have because they all have a purpose in your daily needs, you will develop a sense of self worth and respect for yourself and your belongings.
I hope that you found one of these tips useful, i know how hard it is to keep things clean, you have major kudos from me because i have to move soon and i have so much to go through and im dreading it, but watching your videos have given motivation and inspiration to just do it because once its over with i will feel much better and ill be able to enjoy a nice clean minimalistic new house!

    @beatrizsouza6193 Před 3 lety +1

Hey, thank you for sharing your process with us! That was great.
You asked for tips on how to keep clean and organized, so I'll tell you some stuff other people have said here too. If something doesn't make sense please tell me, english isn't my first language. So I'd say the most useful tips would be to have a garbage bin by your bed, so you don't have to gather up the strength to get up when you have to throw something out. It can be a large one so it doesn't fill up so fast. That works well for laundry too, wherever you usually take clothes off (yourself and your bed/bath). Maybe even two, three, whatever you need, that's generally cheap. You don't have to do laundry every week, but when you do, you won't have to put up with looking for clothes all over. Another box or tray I really like to have next to me is a "going away" one, for stuff that I'm meant to take to another room or even outside the house. That could maybe work for dishes for you.
As for tasks, if you like writing them down, personally it doesn't work for **me** to schedule cleaning. Sometimes the day comes up and I'm not okay, I don't have the energy or there's other important stuff to do, so I put it off (for many days on a row) and feel bad for both the tasks postponed and my procrastination. What works well for me is to have lists as detailed as possible (like "taking trash out of the first drawer" instead of "deep cleaning my room", you know?), and then organize these tasks by the level of energy/work they take instead of the area. Some days you're only well enough to, idk, charge your phone, turn off the lights, brush your teeth. Nothing's too small to be on your list. And I don't feel like those should be on the same list as scrubbing the toilet, you know? Cleaning a mug may be okay when cleaning a pile of dishes isn't. That way I can do at least the bare minimum. Give it a try if you'd like and let me know if it works for you. I hope you make more videos =)

Maybe a "dumb" approach would be good. If you have allot of trash you could get a big trash can and put it where your trash accumulates most often. If your sewing stuff lays around it would be good to get a set up. Like a dresser, it would create storage and a workspace. If you have allot of plates, get a tray or basket to put them in when you are done. That would create a manageable mess. And on days were you feel better you don't have to collect the stuff, just take the basket to the kitchen(btw with a flat plastic surface so it can be cleaned easier)
Hope this helps. Sending lots of love and prayers ❤

I know it can become super overwhelming to try and clean a large mess like that. So instead of doing it all pick one thing while you’re motivated in that amount of time. And just keep picking one subject item to find and pick up

Living in a 2-story house for the first time, I learned a trick for keeping things somewhat organized without running back and forth up and down the stairs all day. I keep a bin at the base of the stairs for everything that goes up, and then when I'm going upstairs for something I'll take the bin with me (or what's in it, depending). This helps so much with things like laundry, toys, paperwork, etc. I wonder if a similar method would help you - keep a bin by the door for everything that needs to go back out, and of course a trash can for trash. Trash is full and you don't want to take it out? Simply start a new bag, it doesn't have to be in the can. Stuff some extra bags in the bottom of the can so you always have more.

Say and repeat “don’t put it down, put it away”. Say this over and over and over. Every time you go to throw something on the floor or table or anywhere it doesn’t belong, say it and guilt yourself into picking it up and putting it away every time you stray (say to yourself “it’s literally right there, don’t be a lazy butt, do it now because you can and there’s no good reason not to”). It eventually becomes habit and you don’t even think about it. I still struggle with dusting/sweeping/mopping regularly but this little chant has changed everything for me. No clutter = much less stress

The more stuff you have, the more anxiety and depression you might go through. I speak from personal experience. After I seriously decluttered, I felt much better. I want to find peace in my living space, not the battlefield so I keep it tidy every day. No more than 10 minutes needed. Just play 3 songs while you tidy up. Choose the ones you love. The cleaning songs, yeah! 😇 Do whatever feels good. I also hope that you don’t have any debts while having so much stuff. The more stuff you have and more debt, the more depressed you become. Trust me, I know and I learned the hard way. Best wishes.

I always had a messy room like yours and couldn’t really grasp why it always got out of hand. For me it was: depression, clinging onto sentimental items and making everything a sentimental item and not having a place for them. I then moved out and went through everything. I took me over a month and I trashed and gave away about 2/3 of my stuff. With sentimental items I tried to find a use for them, turning my favourite bedsheets that were broken into a tablecloth, wich I actually needed. For all the other sentimentals I limited myself to one medium sized plastic box that I can easily store in my closet. In my new apartment in found a place where everything belongs, wich makes it easier to clean up.
Now I still struggle with keeping everything clean, but there is less stuff to clutter up and I’ve become very aware of my mental state. My depression isn’t going anywhere, but I can tame it, accept it and be prepared for the next episode.
Your videos really reminded me of how far I’ve come and I’m thankful for that. I wish you well on your journey!

Thank you so much for sharing. I have spent many years thinking I'm alone in this. You have given me motivation to start the transformation in my room.

My tips would be to make sure everything has a place. If draws and cupboard are overflowing or disorganised, it’s so much easier to just have stuff lying around anywhere. Do a clear out if need be, invest in tubs or containers (including next to sink in bathroom) and make sure everything has it’s “spot”. Nothing should be out and lose unless it’s meant to be, like a decoration, or useful (lamp, tv).
Also make sure you have enough bins everywhere you might need. Have one in your room

Trash cans everywhere help!! A couple in each room. Well done!!

My room was just like yours. Except I had my room and my storage room. I watched your first video before I cleaned and now am watching your second video after I cleaned everything. Needless to say, I am extremely proud of both of us! ☺️

I would get so overwhelmed when my room would look like this I just started throwing shit away while listening to minimalism CZcams videos. After awhile I didn’t have so much stuff. I still have to tidy up because I clutter easily but man, the way I feel when I walk into my clutter less room WITH the bed made????
I actually enjoy being in my bedroom now instead of avoiding it like COVID-19.
    Press on girl ✌🏾&💜

Making a point to get the trash bag out every week. A full trash bag (you determine the size). Making it a goal. I do that. I also have the same mind set with the dishes. Dishes have to be put away right when the dishwasher is done. It took a few years, but I have gotten used to it now. Messes aren’t as bad. Sometimes when it gets tough I watch bugs in hoarders houses to make me make sure the trash gets to the curb and dirty dishes get in the dishwasher right away.

I struggle with mental health too and something that helps me clean is listening to some music I really like. Having less stuff, especially clothes is useful as at some point I run out of clean clothes. As they told you keeping a bin and laundry hamper might work. Finally I like to have a place for everything and I have a lot of furniture and drawers to organise or at least hide some of the mess. Anyway good luck!

the thing that helped the most for me was to start keeping track of what exactly was always a mess and then both get rid of a ton of it and find work arounds to keep the mess from happening.
if there's constantly clothes piled everywhere and i'm not forced to wash them because i still have clothes in my closet, that means i have too many clothes. i got rid of all my dishes except 4 sets so now i'm forced to do the dishes instead of letting it pile up. i put little trash cans all over my apartment by the places i sit or work so that it's just as easy to drop a piece of trash or paper in the trash can as it is to drop it on the floor. bags, boxes, papers, and junk mail gets removed immediately and i even try to unpack and throw away packaging outside so it never even gets inside. i don't go shopping unless i also have time to fully put everything away.
i was ruthless in getting rid of stuff because so much of my depression cleaning was stuff piling up because i had no place for it. for such a long time i tried to keep things clean but i just had way too much stuff to manage so i was just shifting around the massive amount of stuff i had. keeping 100 things organized and put away is way easier than keeping 1000 things organized and put away. now i try to be more careful of what physical things i buy and bring into my house. i don't buy project stuff unless i'm going to start the project immediately because i've always had a bad habit of starting too many things at once. and i don't buy multiples of things like shampoo or dish soap because for me it gets overwhelming and cluttered way too fast.
all these boundaries help me to keep things under control. my systems aren't foolproof and messes still often happen, but they typically end up being a lot smaller. i wish you the best in finding out what works for you!

I never leave a room without taking stuff with me that belongs elsewhere. For example, the dishes. If you’re walking out the door of the room, take your used dishes back to the kitchen. Don’t leave the room empty-handed. Nice bathroom, by the way.

To get cleaning try to remember and focus on the feeling you will have after your room is clean as opposed to what you're feeling now. I know just thinking about being in a clean breathable room lift my spirits and gets me motivated. Also when you're cleaning, if weather allows, make sure to open the windows so you can get good breezes sunlight and here this sounds of life outside. That's a good motivator it's also helpful for me to put on music pretty loud so they distract me from how much work I'm doing cleaning. Stretching before you start cleaning and even during is also helpful it re-energized is your body so that you don't start to get tired of the cleaning. Also probably the best thing that you can do for your situation is to next focus on getting rid of stuff and not just cleaning and organizing. You have quite a bit of stuff that probably isn't that important instead of just trying to make room for it in every cleaning video you should probably focus on having left stuff in general

If you can get some shelves for your room so you designate areas for things like food and other things so they won't end up all over the place ❤
