The company that made the service body and draws is ezToolBox Melbourne. They’re a little rough around the edges but it’s a handy setup compared to what we had previously.
I did a PM on a few massive heatpumps servicing the hot water for some student accommodation yesterday. Found one circuit was running lower discharge temps, higher EEV position and had a flashing sight glass compared to all the other circuits. I'm going to have to go look at my readings now, sounds like discharge temp should go up not down on a low charge, where condensing pressures are similar. Interesting!
Discharge temps go higher when low on refrigerant because there is less cooling coming back to the comp so the motor runs hotter. If you have an EEV that’s open more than you think it should be, a flashing sight glass and low discharge temps you could be flooding back due to a suction sensor that’s reading out.
Temperzone really do overkill the screws ey, good work legend
Haha it’s a pain every time 😂
Good video man thanks for explaining how the unit monitors and triggers high discharge superheat
Thanks mate, glad it helped.
Great video, thanks!
Thanks mate.
Draw system looks mint! What brand is it?

Why haven't you been uploading any vids lately?
I started a new job for a manufacturer and they’re a little more stringent on me filming. Hopefully I’ll get some more out at some point 🤞
