No You don't do that to an animal you love, or anything you love, that is not live, that looked like from what I caught of it a small time puppy mill operation, Remember they were talking about "Once the puppies were born" da da da da da.." My best interpretation if it is that those were the parents of the puppies and they were just keeping them to breed them again and again and again to sell the puppies. and possibly the kittens, you would be absolutely astounded at some of the conditions I walked into as an ASPCA Volunteer, some of them were so bad the animals were barely even alive, we nursed a lot of them back to health, but it took months for some and others were never capable of being adopted out again because they were permanently mentally, physically or psychologically destroyed by the owners. The saying we had was certainly true then and certainly holds true now. Every dog, and every Cat deserves a Human, but not every human deserves any animal, and some should never be allowed around any animal ever! We helped pass a law in the state of Kansas that animal abuse and animal cruelty is charged as a Class one felony because it was so bad. Especially when you walk into Dog fighting rings and animal fighting rings. I love animals in general, but when dogs are hurt in particular, it destroys me. Especially Young animals and senior animals. They are a gift to us, and yet people can't be good to them. Some humans are monsters.

I just don't understand how people can do this to poor innocent animals. I adopted a stray kitty that was abandoned and starving to death. I started feeding him and after a few months of living on my porch I adopted him. He is the sweetest thing and my whole world. He just wanted a home where he's loved. These people make me sick.😢
Dude same. I have so many street rescues. They almost seem grateful for your love because they were mistreated . That’s literally all they want. My Taco Bell dumpster kitten, AL , literally wants nothing more than to show me his favorite toy and get lots of nuzzles in. Animals are inoocent , loving beings and don’t deserve this. I cried watching this, I just wanted to cuddle all of them and show them what a good life really is😢

I adopted a starving stray too. His name was Snowheart. I loved him, he was the cuddliest derp. Very definition of one orange brain cell. He was sick when I got him and I guess he never fully recovered. He always looked zooted out of his little brain (and my sister shifty gray tabby looked like his catnip dealer) and he wasn’t good at grooming himself. He got extremely sick, but I was in still school and working on the weekends, so I couldn’t take him to the vet. My mom said she would. Well, he disappeared for a week and my mom found him dead under the couch a week later. She said that when my stepdad was trying to pick him up to put him in a bag, horrible smelling liquids came out. Well, my dumb butt mom likes to talk loud on the phone and if you anywhere within the open common area or loft, you could hear everything she said. She ADMITTED to knowing Snowheart needed to see the vet but she “just didn’t feeling like taking him,” so she didn’t and just told me she did. My stepdad wasn’t very nice to him when he was alive. So since the only people who WERE good to him (my younger sister and I) didn’t have to witness that “discovery,” I absolutely believe my mom and stepdad having to deal with moving his body and cleaning up where they found him was his revenge from beyond the grave.

@@DedraAmbroseandSnowif you mean the dog fighting ones, they were literally BRED to kill. It will be VERY HARD for them to find a dog that passes a basic temperament test. And they HAVE to pass to not be put down.
Any breeding females and probably any bait dogs might be able to, but the actual fighting dogs have very little chance unfortunately. They have to pass a basic temperament test, but part of that is being able to see another dog and NOT try to kill it- something they were bred and raised to do. They can also be extremely dangerous to people, especially children and especially small children.
When I worked at an animal shelter, we got a dog we believed was used in dog fights. I think he was a bait dog, because the poor boy was scared of his own shadow. He spent his day curled up in a corner, pretending no one else existed because he was afraid of being hurt. One day, it was decided we would put him in the front office behind the counter. A volunteer came in to brush the dogs and cats. She was an older middle aged woman. The kind of woman you would expect to adopt a small breed or a known friendly, easy to manage breed. Well, she saw Mike and how scared he was and just decided she would get him to come out eventually. So she just sat on the office floor out of the way and eventually he came out, slowly walked up to her, laid down, and eventually let her brush and pet him. She fell in love with him and before she left, she put an adoption application on him. She was approved. When she came to collect him on adoption day, he was terrified as he was being taken out of the kennel, the person holding his leash practically had to drag him along. But when the door to the front room was opened and he saw her, he ran right at her, neared dragged the person on the other end of his lead to the ground. Never saw a dog’s tail wag as fast and as hard as his did that day. Just wanted to give you a similar story with a happy ending.

The sick dog who had to be put down really pissed me off he tried using the excuse “I couldn’t afford to do anything about it” like DUDE no. My cat overdosed once and I couldn’t afford his surgery so I was literally about to surrender him so he could get the help he needs , luckily for him and I the shelter helped us and I still have my baby but period point blank if you deeply actually love you’re pet you’ll do ANYTHING for them to be alive and okay.

When I worked at the shelter, a friend wanted to adopt a dog for her dad. I know her dad. He’s an alcoholic. After she left, I TOLD my manager “hey, don’t approve this application. I know the guy she wants to give the dog to. He’s a drunk who will choose alcohol over his dogs needs.” She got mad and told me “you can’t just not let someone have a pet because they drink!” I swear she approved it just because I said not to. Anyway he got the dog. Healthy, young adult female boxer. 2 years later, he had to put her down because she got Lyme’s disease. He knew she was sick, but didn’t take her to the vet because he “couldn’t afford it.” But he could afford to keep drinking and going to bars. And the area I lived in was low income, so EVERY VET had payment plan options for people who could afford a visit or medicine. So he COULD have taken her and afforded the payment plan options, but that would mean giving up his precious booze for a while.

She’ll then joke that “if worse comes to worse, at least they can eat.” But we both know it’s true. We would rather make sure they get fed even if it means we go without than let them starve so we can have something we don’t need.

I just saw a dog locked in a hot car, at a Walmart, on Thursday May 2nd 2024 and called the police and the humane society to come and rescue him. Poor baby was panting and panting, but had no spit. Windows weren't even cracked, just the sunroof was barely cracked open... I felt so so bad and really wanted to smash the window and save him, but that's unfortunately illegal where I'm at. Luckily that puppy got saved, just like the doberman puppy in the video.

The state of that house. I took in a dog that had suffered very badly, and if I could have found the person he would not be going to jail, but to hospital, complete with wheelchair. Dog is now fine, but took a lot of care to get her to where she is. I recently had words with a local council official for her cruelty in locking her dogs in her house. She could say nothing. Unfortunately the police and RSPCA do not give a damn, in the United Kingdom.

I'm the same way, i use soap and hot water to clean the litter box before refilling it, always clean dishes, i even give my cat cool spring water. I accepted the responsibility when i adopted my cat, and part of that is making sacrifices accordingly. Sometimes he eats better than i do.

The second one with those landlords and the tenant I think the landlords were full of crap blaming the tenant for their animals not getting care. What aholes. If they cared about their animals so much why weren't they in their own home? How dare they force their tenant to deal with them. The wife was full of crap. And the tenant made some horrible decisions but ultimately wasn't her responsibility. She was their scapegoat.

I never kennel my dog. Dogs hate to be enclosed like that.
My dog is kennel trained, but he runs free. He only goes in the kennel when someone is coming to do any work and needs to go in his room or when he goes to the vet- he gets car sick very easily, so it helps clean up in case he throws up. But if you live in an area where natural disasters happen, then it IS recommended that your dog be kennel trained because any disaster shelters for animals usually don’t take dogs that aren’t kennel trained for safety reasons.

I worked at an animal shelter for 4 years and helped with morning cleaning. That smells nasty after 6 hours over night with no one cleaning up. I can only imagine the smell and that image makes me want to puke.
