Let’s look at it like this. Every nation got to send 1 or 2 of there best side in the country. SA send the Top 10. SA 10th placed best side in the country is beating the other countries best they’ve got to offer. In all fairness SA sides from top 3-10 should all have been beaten and embarrassed at a world competition instead they giving the best the world has to offer hidings. SA should really have the most loses at this competition considering how many teams they’ve been allowed to send and considering they not even the best rugby schools in SA who are playing the best rugby schools around the world. Clearly that is why SA got to send 10 teams, to make it competitive.

youve got to understand, being a top nation in football, cricket and rugby means our youth player pool isnt as focused purely rugby like NZ and SA. Having said that, nz has a far smaller population whereas south africas is almost larger than both england and nz combined
