I have to have this even if it takes a few more years to finish, it looks like it will one to just play through at a leisurely pace taking in all the detail in the art. I had the same problem with Eastward a game it also has a shared aesthetic with. TYSM fir turning me on to Yokai Inn! Also, I may have to watch Spirited Away again nowâșïž

I like the approach to item/tool durability as well. While I liked it in Breath of the Wild I wouldn't want to see it in every game. I think tool progression/crafting for Yokai Inn is super intriguing and seems like a smart move. Really well done video all-around from a wonderful channel!

Yeah I'm not sure about the status of Frontier Story. The developer said they'll probably work on it privately after all the drama but I haven't heard anything new since then unfortunately đ so it could be abandoned đ
Some of the stuff feels a little overwhelming to me but I said the same thing about Animal Crossing New Leaf making you mayor & that wasn't too bad. I probably just need to get use to things once the game comes out & I have time to play it. Aside from that this is pretty interesting so hope to find out more at some point.
Yeah some of these management/farming sim games do take some time to get used to especially with how many features they can have. I usually start enjoying the game after playing a good chunk of hours into it once I've gotten used to the mechanics. Hopefully it'll be fun and not too overwhelming! đ
I'm sorry I don't know too much about it. As of right now the developer doesn't have any new updates directly regarding the game on Twitter. They do have a lot of art that they're regularly making but I'm not 100% sure it's for the game.
The developer is still deciding on whether or not they want to do an early access or not so I'm not completely sure about that. They'll probably release a kickstarter in the next year or two which is probably when we'll get more definitive info.

There's no confirmed release date yet but the developer is working on gettung out a Kickstarter campaign which will most likely have more info.
