I think it looks badass with all the exposed bars. The bags a good for longer trips, shorter local stuff they arent needed so the look can be visible in all its glory! The street rack and the crash bars add to the sci fi/futuristic streetfighter look. This is the exact look ive been imagining as a consider getting this bike so great to see someone already made a video of it!
I also live in Kentucky and I also have am MT07 along with other bikes This is one of those bikes that you really don't get tired of. You may think you want more power but when you think about it you realize that more power is just a waist. I have owned a Street Triple and that bike was fantastic but it was more than I needed. I loved the precision of handling though. You just can't argue with what you get for the price of an MT07. I also own a 2022 Heritage Classic and a 2018 Iron 1200 along with a 2015 XT250. I have also just rebuilt a 1972 hard tail chopper with a Girder front end. So at 69, I know what I like. I'm also a carnivore body builder.
Love this, this is what Im going to do with my MT-07, currently looking at buying one and then I hope to kit it out and take it from the UK -> France -> Netherlands -> Germany -> France -> UK. Please could you make a list of all the parts on your MT so I can easily buy them all, you would do me a MASSIVE favour.
I highly recommend the givi tank lock ring and tank bangs. I run a Nelson Rigg CL3000 tail bag for long multi day trips and have a couple of small tank bags as well as a 15 liter tank bag. I run givi tank lock rings on every bike I buy as the bags snap onan off. Took a while to get the ring for my 2022 MT-07 as they hadn't become widely available yet. I ended up ordering it from Italy last year but RevZilla has them now.
You are making the bike with the setup you want for purposes you want..If is a blend of functionality/sexiness..Keep up with the nerds stuff..Remember that the nerds creating the path for the rest..✅👍
Would you recommend getting crash pads? I’m waiting for my new mt07 2023. It’s my first bike so not sure if I should get them. Some say they may cause more damage during crash. Thanks
Crash pads in your jacket and pants? Or crash protection installed on the bike? I haven’t heard of negatives for either one really. I have the Givi crash bar on the bike and my jacket has padding built in for the ever-so-dreaded crash.

With the bags and top box can you still have a comfortable pillion? I know the seat is clear, but will their legs clear the boxes?
