Serge Savard what a classy gentleman ❤
Serge Savard, One of the Greatest Players ever and such a Class Act, Thank you Gino for having him on your show.
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
Still carries the magic from the old days. What a carreer on ice and up in the office afterwards. Merci Serge!
Hey Gino, great podcast, just discovered it.
What a legend! We Habs fans were in our glory in the seventies. It is still a thrill to listen to the greats from those teams talk about their experiences back then. These podcasts provide a chance to enjoy these conversations that were simply not available to us in our younger years.
Legend
Serge is a true gentleman.I met him in Halifax many years ago. We had a great hockey conversation on the NHL and the QMJHL.
Serge had everyone here in the Boston area humbled when he came out of nowhere to dominate the 69 playoffs. He kept the Bruins off-balance the whole series. That was Serge before his fractured legs -- no one could catch him.
I wonderful man, I got a chance to drive him around in my cab.
Canada never lost a game in 72 when Serge was in the lineup
Gino, Serge won 8ncups in 16 years. That's seriously impressive, but what about Dryden?? Dryden won 6 cups in 8 seasons !!!!
I’m so sick of everyone putting down the Flyers! No talent? How bout Bobby Clarke, Rick MacLeish, Reggie Leach, Bill Barber, Bernie Parent! Funny though how everybody loved the Flyers in 76 when they decisively trounced the Red Army. The only NHL team to do so. The HABS could only tie them
Nobody's putting down The Flyers because they were a great team & even The Montreal Canadiens who beat them in 1976 acknowledged that. Even Phil Esposito admitted that.
@@SuperPrince1007 Did you even watch the video?
@@MrRegularAmerican Not entirely but I will.
Not as great as Henri Richard who won 11 Stanley cups as a player. The only NHLer to do It.
