There was a story about him in the Wall St Journal a couple of years ago. He had gotten into hard drugs such as heroin, and had to be removed from his company. At the time, it was not believed that he had committed suicide, but that, in a stupor, he had fallen off the balcony of his Toronto high-rise apartment. The company that he had founded had to be closed temporarily, in order to reorganize; this was long before the sale to Estée Lauder. However, he had long ago expressed his wish to eventually sell to EL. It is always such a tragedy when someone so brilliant becomes self-destructive!🥺

Whenever I have a question about a skin care issue, I go right to Dr. Dray. I love my regular derm; but he would never spend this much time explaining the things I need to know about the day to day management of my sensitive skin. I can always trust Dr. Dray to recommend products that have no fragrance and to explain why/how they work. It's basically like I have two derms helping me! Thanks so much!

My partner has been having issues woth dry red flaky spots on his face for months now. Started watching her videos and got him on a basic regimen with washing, moisturizing, and the CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum. Its been a week. His skin is totally clear now.
When I asked if the dermatologist had gone over any of that he said no!
I was stunned...like you would think the derm would go over what he is doing for his skin care and what he should be doing.
They just prescribed an antifungal shampoo that dried his skin out more and destroyed the skin barrier. He had been using it this whole time and it would help a little bit it would always be coming back.
      Dr Dray rescued his face.

Letting it sink in to the skin, layering it with a vitamin C moisturiser on top.. having my home spa evenings with a nice layer of resveratrol serum and then have a vitamin C sheet mask and just relax... 🧖🏻‍♀️ I love it 🥰

Did use all of these - the caffeine + EGCG only for my eye area and it did work for me, but I definitely think as Dr. Dray pointed out that this does make a lot of sense as a whole-face antioxidant serum!
The resvetrarol + ferulic acid worked nice for me in terms of feeling on skin, but as with many antioxidant I am not sure of what it did for my skin! But yea: I would try it again!
The EUK has been part of The Ordinary offering for some time now, I think it came our either in 2017 or 2018. Unfortunately I didn't find a place for it on my routine, since it doesn't work well with vitamin C or acidic products. But Dr Dray indication as a post-radiation treatment is definitely very interesting!
Thanks for your useful content Dr. Dray!

When my melasma was at its worst a few years ago, I had read some studies on it as a supplement so began taking it (it also contained resveratrol - as grape seed extract, I think?) and I honestly and truly think I saw a reduction in my melasma... I'm wondering if I cocktailed the res. serum with the pycnogenol if I'd see a further reduction in the stubborn remaining patches... Lot of good stuff out there re the benefits of pycnogenol, so I was happy to learn that TO carries it! xoMaria
