Kids can learn to crawl, walk and talk at an early age.... Don't you people think that kids can be learn to be safe around dangerous equipment also? I mean really!!! It has not been that many years ago that it was normal for children to be out working on the family farm at a young age. Now days a teenager can't get a job working construction for fear of them getting hurt. Start teaching your children at a young age to be productive instead of dumbing them down. BY THE WAY THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT EVEN WITH KID DEMONSTRATING IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny how we comment on a certain thing. I grew up in the Philippines and remember all sorts of danger. Be at play or work. I don't see this as a child labor or where's the parents. If you don't see a parent here, most likely, busy. We work together as a family as my parents can't afford a baby sitter or a nursery school. I learn to do chores at an early age and start cooking when I was 9. When I was 10 I baby sit my 2 brothers and sister while my big brother and big sister help my parents in the market selling vegetables during weekends. This is how most Filipino were raised. We know the value of work and we learned how to take care of ourselves and be safe by "practice and experience". I wish I can raise my child the way it was.

I hope the fine young man in the video, lives a long and healthy life, free of any hearing loss or other personal injury. i would have preferred to see this: An adult, lifting ears and feeding the machine off a table, and if anything, a child or more, bringing baskets of a few ears etc, to the adult for placing on the table, a more gentle role than the child being an endangered work unit instead. Also, placing any container under the cob output, and another, under the corn kernel output, would certainly make it look like someone is paying closer attention to what is being done there, and that human time and effort are valued and not wasted with unnecessary work. Otherwise, I would love to see the inside of the machine, and to know: who distributes that machine in the U.S., if anyone? Thank you!.
