    I'm planning on using this on a small server rack, what are your thoughts?

      It doesn’t seem like an elegant, innovative or efficient solution, but you could try it.

      What's wrong with fans?

    They claim a CoP (coefficient of performance) of 10, which is simply not possible. 4.5 is the absolute maximum. So assuming a CoP of 3.6 this AC produces about 950 BTU's of cooling. That's the absolute best case scenario. Which is enough for about 130 ft³, 4.8 yrd³ or 3.7 m³. In spaces bigger than that it won't cool below ambient temperatures. So using a fan and opening a window would be way more efficient.

    son i am disappoint - you need to do the frozen 2 liters in cooler with holes cut for fan and exhaust - you should run this as mini split just turn it around

    I'd advise anyone who really wants this to wait until you can buy it direct. their crowdfunding has already raised enough to get it into production, and it is often the case that people who buy direct get their units before the people who pre-ordered them!
    Also, if you are considering some kind of versatile indoor AC system you can get the dual vent ones from costco for the same price as this one, and the ones from costco blow this one out of the water in almost every way other than power consumption and weight.

    I’d be OK with you doing paid promotion for these types of products. It’s not your core content, and it could help finance your channel. I’m here for your regular content.

      Thankssss, I'm planning on trying this on a server rack 😂 later when I have time

  • @sophirichmanfletcher4657

    Have you tried it in your shed or a warm vehicle? I'm really desperate for something to cool my conversion van for my cats. Swamp coolers don't cut it. I'd appreciate an update.

    I'm in the market for a small portable all around ac. this device seems like it's missing many features for me. I can't help but think this is somewhat one of those expensive gimmick personal (literally) cooler from ali express.

    I am working in the street
    I have no access to electricity
    What kind of power supply you recommend

  • @MrJaz8088

    You need to add a Solar Panel and a Solar Charge Controller, Plenty of Sun to capture in Summer
    I use a Solar Setup on a Air Diesel Heater for Winter (last day tomorrow) to Heat the Garage, its a losing battle for me, not much Sun

    What you think of the power consumption? Will it drain my car battery in a 24 HR block??

    So you just assumed it will cool that area without really testing it.......... /facepalm. We all know that thing is too tiny that only uses 200 watts of power. It's like one ice cube trying to chill a gallon of bottled water.

    250w ac, sure.. for like 3m3, camper acs for like 15m3 are like 2000usd and pull like 2000-2500w and they strugle hard in warm temps with campers. dont fund this junk

    • @NovaspiritTech
      @NovaspiritTech  Před rokem +2

      I agree, definitely no strong enough to cool a campers, but I do plan on trying this on a small server rack

    • @nneeerrrd

      Dude, learn your sh!t. Adults judge AC by its BTU rating and EFR. Best mobile ACs for apartments draw like 1500 W from wall and rated for 27-33 m2, with your typical ceiling height. Can you even calculate the volume from this data huh?

    • @nneeerrrd
      @nneeerrrd Před rokem +1

      @@NovaspiritTech with thermal isolation of your server room done right it will work good enough. You want both intake and exhaust of the cool side to be on the same side of isolated cooling volume. Otherwise you'll get positive pressure in the cooled volume. And waste of the power.
