When you watch Say something by Jt and Chris keep in mind the video was shot in one take. Canât wait for you to hear The Teskey Brothers you will definitely enjoy that voice
ONE TAKE!?!? Now wait a damn minute đđ„đ„Žđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł Ok Iâll be checking that out soooooooon!!! đđŸđđ„

I was just going to recommend Say Something by Justin & Chris and tell you how AMAZING the video is.someone beat me to it,and they are correct...it was shot in one single complete take.the camera work is fantastic not to mention the choir and band.the coordination and performance is beyond amazing by everyone involved. But best of all Justin & Chris have fantastic voices and incredible music!!đ

That wasn't a performance. Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton took that crowd to CHURCH!!
FACTS!!!!!!đđŸđđŸđđŸđ„đ„đ„
Accurate!!!!
Amen my Brothers and Sisters!
Amen my Brothers and Sisters!
I love their soulful sounds, but songs about drinking and comparing women to alcohol have nothing to do with church. I love both songs, but it's weird to say them singing these songs brought people to church. Church is way more than people singing well.
I love "This man sounds like twelve angels coming to give my soul some orange juice" LMAO đ€Łđ
đšđ±Love from Texasđšđ±

Let's not sleep on Chris's wife harmonizing!
Yeah Iâm hella late on that one but it doesnât go unnoticed lol
Morgane's harmonies are instinctive rather than engineered, and I love it.â€
When they did Amanda together, and you are my Sunshine, totally shows her talents
They are amazing together!!!!
Amen
THIS PERFORMANCE WAS TOTALLY LIVE WHICH IS WHAT MAKES IT SO TOTALLY UNREAL. PERIOD!!!!!!!
Straight đ€Łđ„đ„đ„đ„
Itâs on of the best live performances in recorded history. Stapleton said that the next day, he knew his life had changed. But itâs just so perfect.
This is hands down one of the VERY BEST live performances on TV. It was AMAZING!
I agree about the amazing part. This really is. But, and this is just my opinion, I think the MTV Unplugged sets by Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains were better. Also, the 1965 live version of Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers gives me chills every time. It aired on the Andy Williams show. Side note...Rolling Stone ranked Unchained Melody at # 365 on their list of the top 500 songs of all time. I consider that a great disservice. Ramble, done.
@@jared699 you make some good points there. I've seen those and enjoy them very much. Also, it seems as though my favorites change now and then. I've seen some great performances, like Led Zeppelin and for sure Queen. Maybe should've said Country performance.
@@donnamiley6778 Yes, Led Zeppelin and especially Queen at Live Aid are great mentions. And, yes, I think it's difficult to compare across genres sometimes.
He's written thousands of songs & his wife finally talked him into singing & He has been winning everything! Not Just him & Justin, but Chris's wife is singing with them. She can sing beautiful too!!
I was coming to see if someone pointed out his wife singing up there too!
Yes. My jaw dropped while watching this, just like that guy in the audience. It is NEXT LEVEL and transcendent. No words.
"12 angels coming to down to give my soul some orange juice" love that! đ đ€Ł đ
I was walking through the living room and this was on the TV. I stopped cold and stood there listening. AMAZING.
I love seeing Chrisâs wife onstage with him, she compliments his voice so well. Love the way they look at each other while performing, she helps him a lot with his anxiety onstage.
Morgan is an amazing, supportive, proud wife, who also has so much talent of her own. đ
Bravo very well said. Morgan has the voice of an angel and harmonizes so well with her husband they're like butter biscuits and honey
Oh yes, they knew JTâs song! Listen to them singing with him! Lady Antebellum knows every word!!!!
Lmao đ€Ł yeah Iâve been drilled on this!! Made a mistake clearly lol
@@ABtheKreator you were in it just like the audience, right at that moment, so you missed it, it was only for a second so I'm not surprised you missed it.

â@@ABtheKreatorI love your reactions, the Tennessee Whiskey song is dear to me, was something my man and I enjoyed chilling and listening to. I lost him to heart failure in December 2019. Listening takes me right back to us together enjoying this music. Keep on doing your reactions.
The 2 angels with the orange juice thing took me all the way out. And yes, that's his wife.
Dawg!!! Who doesnât like Orange Juice đ„Žđđđđ„ Well that makes sense smh just a family full of talent wow
Morgane Stapleton is incredibly talented. Her cover of You are my Sunshine, will give you goosebumps.
I heard itâs đđŸđ„đ„đ„đ„
Her version borders on very dark .... and it is great.
Yes!! You should react to this! One of my all time favorite covers!
Awesome. Chris Ain't No Joke. Got Soul.. Fact
These two walked that whole audience to the alter, Baptized them, and led them to the Pearly Gates! Full on bring 'um to church jam session. I have watched this many times. Can't get enough! I can on imagine being there live!
I remember watching this when it aired and thinking âIs this real life?â
You just witnessed one of the best jam sessions. I watched this on TV that night. I still get chills.
Big chills lol
Same it was awesome! I donât care for country but I stopped channel chasing when I heard Justin being announced and to be nosey lol fell in love and was telling everyone
Every person on that stage was at their finest... driving each other to the greatest performance of their lives. The organ player... the horns... EVERY musician... It was just GREATNESS.
By far the best opening to an awards show. Ever!â€
This is one of those duets you didn't know you need until you heard it
There's something about this kind of music and the style of jam session that really seems to light a fire in Timberlake. I watched one of his concerts with his band The Tennessee Kids and the best and longest part was when they did Drink You Away. They were just jamming out and it was the best and most fun part of the entire thing. Timberlake didn't seem to want to stop singing it and the band was having so much fun. They are so talented.
This collaboration with Stapleton has to be one of the best live award show performances ever.
âSounds like 12 angels coming down to give my soul some orange juiceâ while looking to the right đđđđđ
Haha đ it sounded just like that correct đđŸđ€Łđ„đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
The way Justin Dropped into this song dropped my entire soul whoa!!! Dear Lord it still that good lol!!!
â12 angels sent to give my soul some orange juice!â I FELT THAT

Chris Stapleton has one of those voices that's just pure heaven and pushes the music into ones own soul!
You missed when JT starts and everyone is singing and throwing down! Go back and rewatch!
Yeah I definitely had to go back and watch it!!!! đđŸ
They are a match made in music heaven- this is MY favorite âsongâ collab EVER!!! Glad you loved it too!!!
Yes, I agree that this is amazing. My favorite would probably be Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell doing Hunger Strike. Totally different genre though.
Impeccable, is a good word here. JTâs band is so tight! They deserve a lot of credit for this performance, and they had a BLAST! And, so did the audience full of country music stars, and music industry people. We all love great music, donât we?
At 11:40 of this video Justin walks away from the mic and it looks like his base man is hyping him to go give them some more.
đ¶ The band...mannn...the band was straight up FIYAH!!! That was like a live jam session. đ

This popped up on my feed, so first time watcher here.
I truly enjoy watching people experience this performance for the first time.
I saw it playing live, I was sitting on my sofa watching the CMA's as I do every year, and when this was over I was no longer sitting and don't remember getting up to this day!
It is truly a phenomenal moment of music history.
Haha nice!! Appreciate that and yes Chris is amazing artist canât wait to hear the rest of his work
I watched it recorded, but I agree with you, it was spectacular!!!!
This performance was EPIC! It's what introduced me to Chris Stapleton and I haven't looked back!
Haha đ yeah we in the same boat!! Ainât no going back now
Yes, everyone there knew JT very well, but this was a breakout for Chris, although he had been making music for years. His songs were hits for other artists before his wife, Morgane, encouraged him to go solo. Thatâs her on stage singing harmony.
@@jeffstumpf9129 well he definitely made a SPLASH!!! đđŸđ„đ„đ„đ„đđ
Imagine being Florida Georgia Line and having to follow that performance. I heard they were pulling them back in from the parking lot lol
Smh I would just walk out dawg lmaooooo đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł Ainât no point trying to follow that act lol
This is actually the performance that had Chris Stapleton blow up! He was a writer for many years for different artists.
Hands down the best performance ever known to man
"This man sounds like 12 angel comin to give my soul some orange juice." Couldn't have put it better myself.
I was at that show and saw this performance live. The whole place was in shock and I had goose bumps the whole time.. Oh and it was A ONE TAKE SHOT!! no bs!!
Have you seen H.E.R. and Chris Stapleton sing "Hold On" at the 2021 CMTs? Worth a watch, my dude.
Iâve heard about it through you all but I havenât seen it lol but itâs on the list
You might like "CrossRoads".
This is when a Country person or group plays with a Rock or R&B band or singer.
It is a thing they do fairly often.
Best Crossrads I ever seen was Z.Z. Top and Brooks & Dunn

This guy got the best riff of the song and it caught an advertisement. Thatâs cold.
When I saw that performance , I really felt that was probably the greatest performance I ever got to watch. I have attended many concerts and performances over the past 50 or more years. This is absolutely one for the ages. Looking forward to everything Chris Stapleton writes /performs and Justin's path to Country music.
The band was loving it. Yelling at them to sing it. I wish I'd been there. This is epic!!
I saw this the night it aired. I was blown away! Couldnât believe what I had just witnessed. Still to this day, it remains the VERY best live performance Iâve ever seen. 100% FIRE. đ„ Insane!
Nashville is the home to country. Memphis is the home of blues. They're not that far apart geographically or stylistically. Chris bridges the gap perfectly. JT actually started in country as a kid on a show called Star Search. JT and Chris have a song together called "Say Something" and the four of them (including their wives) are great friends. Here's a link to the music video and a link to an amazing live performance they did. Enjoy!

I think that the horn section and quire are his backing band. They both have killer backing bands.
I believe that you are the only person I've seen react to this performance that already knew Drink you away. I really enjoyed your reaction to this iconic performance.
Hey now!!!! Appreciate that đđŸđđŸ
This just shows how versatile Chris really is
When the crowd goes silent and stairs in Wonder and awe they can barely fathom what just happened
The audience doesnât know Justinâs song because it was brand new at the time. This performance is a few years old. And itâs still pure perfection!

If you watch the reactions of the artists when Justinâs song first starts, you will see they knew his song after the performance you will see that they were all were blown away. Miranda lambert actually commented on the performance during her acceptance speech for her own award. I saw this performance live and itâs what turned me on to Chris Stapleton.
