Taylor River- Lower Canyon | High Flow

During the high water of 2024, our local Taylor River got into some decent flows, and in mid June we were able to catch the lower section with almost 1,400 cfs in it. This normally technical section of water was instead of a clear channel filled with fun rapids and the occasional boulder to splash over.
I was joined on this float by my friend Emma, who helped me R2 the raft, and of course Otis and Orion were on board. We were also joined by our friends Tara and Alexis, who R2'd their own raft.
