Ingredients
2 cups flour
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp mace
1 tsp allspice
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 cups fruit mixture
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 tbsp molasses
3-4 tbsp browning
¼ cup red label wine
Bake at 325°F for 75-90mins.
You can spray your cake with rum/wine every few days to help keep from drying out.
