I purchased my 23 GT RF in jan. Love it Love it. Man this car gets better every time i drive it. The only mods i have done :sound tube delete, michlen ps5, door bushings. The car is near perfect as is. Just added goodwin racing muffler today. Enjoy ur new ride!!!
Isn't it great? ... =) I did buy the baffle as well but it did not do much for me and the original sound of the system is just hard to beat in the first place.
@@ThatGermanFella agree 💯. I did not buy the baffle, and can’t see a reason to get it. The sound is great, and I wouldn’t want to muffle it in any way. Enjoyed your video which was a big inspiration for me in choosing the Race exhaust over the other options. Cheers 🍻

Sounds so dope! Thank you for sharing this extended video, and also your experience with the install. A couple questions - is it much louder than the stock exhaust? And, does changing the exhaust void the warranty of the car? Thank you!
Not that much louder, a bit deeper in sound. I also deleted the silly sound tube that was pumping sounds into the cabin. Warranty is not affected at all, it is just an axle back muffler.
This is one of the better-sounding exhaust for a 4 cylinder engine, my top spot is still the Fiat Abarth 500 with the Ferrari tuned factory exhaust but this one is a close 2nd!
The Terracotta has really grown on me, was not sure initially. It looks very upscale and so far after 5000 miles holding up very well. The Exhaust is the best mod for a stock car period, could not be happier with it. I am running it currently with the silencer piece but it does not make much of a difference.
couldn't agree with the seats more. Every day i see them, i like them more and more. Reminds me of the color of a pecan, not terracota. apprecatiate your reply, I am envious of some of those roads you've got. @@ThatGermanFella
@@andrewstevenson6540 Yes quite a different sounding, think lawnmower with factory dual tip and think decent sounding 4 cyl tuner car with a single tip ... =). GR did a very good job with this exhaust, not too obnoxious, and really only "sings" when you step on it. No highway drone at all. The only downside, the single tip does not look as sexy but I take the soundtrack over the looks. Weight wise it is quite a bit lighter, 8lbs to be exact. I pin a comment with a link so you can get all the details. I had this exhaust now for 6 months, and could not be happier!
No, it does not come with the packed baffle that is offered by Good Win Racing, you have to purchase it additionally (50 bucks). The video does not have the baffle installed. I did purchase it after the installation to quiet it down for my better half. There is a difference in general and at highway speeds but it also does not "sing" anymore as pronounced past 4000 rpm.
Yes, It's under 92, It was specifically developed to be able to Race at Laguna Seca (93 db max) and comply with the SCCA sound limits from what I understand.

Actually I *De-Stalled the Goodwin and went back to stock, Mazda engineers know best:) plus i thought it was just a tad too loud
Really? As long as you like it, the stock sound was not for me. Did you try the baffle by any chance, not that it makes a huge difference.

You haven't heard my supercharged BRZ yet or maybe you have if you've looked at some of my videos. 😁I think mine is the best 4 cylinder sounding car.

Yes absolutely love it. It seems to be just the right balance. Don’t forget the silly sound tube that Mazda put in. Cleans up the engine bay nicely.

Is the single tip and twin tip different sounding? Do either sound raspy at high RPM?
I'd love to know this too and also what each of them weigh.
