It feels like in every one of St. Louis' wins, the opposition concedes a goal on an unbelievable defensive miscue. It's tradition at this point. This week's winner was the one that made it 2-0, which was about as bad as the free kick to make it 1-0 was great.
@@nicg1331I would agree except that defender was under absolutely no pressure. As is the case for most of the defensive gaffs I’ve seen that go city’s way
@@davidkamerath7749 When subject to counter press players tend to "feel" more pressure - i.e they always think they are under pressure when they recieve the ball whether or not they are becasuse they are used to players quickly trying to win the ball back quickly. It could be a factor in some situations.
Yes, St. Louis has an aggressive attack the ball carrier mentality on both sides of the field, but I'm more talking about nonsense like the Austin defender passing it right back to a St. Louis player in the opener, Charlotte doing the same thing to seal the deal a week later, and now this ill-advised header while the goalie runs off his line like his oven is burning or something. And that's just the ones I remember. Love watching this team play, but we get so many goals off of simply baffling plays by the opponent. Guess it makes up for the Blues and Cards to a lesser extent (more a Cubs fan, sorry) so far this year, that's for sure.
MLS has such passionate fans considering how young the competition is, glad to see this league progress and grow in the states, just entertaining to watch. Much love from down under.
@@Jaze147 "pretty lucky" is the phrase not all luck. Goal 1 is a bad misplay by goalie. Goal 2 own goal. Goal 3 another bad play by goalie. STL weren't bad, but got dominated at times. Could have easily been 1-0, so you can't argue whether they were lucky (at times)
I undoubtedly blame the coach here: after the first goal Thomas Hasal should have been substituted immediately! these things can not be seen at these levels!
Can anyone translate what the apple tv announcer said on the Lowen goal? The calls are corny, and the Mississippi River is on the other side of the stadium. Earlier this year, City scored on the south goal and he said the player shot from "all the way on market street", once again geographically incorrect.
first goal deserves a freakin medal
I think it might be one of best goals of the season.
My favorite part of that highlight might be the Louligans yelling "SHOOT IT!" right before he kicks the ball.
There is no better way to know the outcome of a sports match than to consult Awakenbeerus. He is simply the best in his game!

I think Saint Loius' counter- pressing style is part of the cause. It puts the opposition under a lot of pressure when in possesion.

Carnell’s reaction to Miggie’s goal says it all.
Let's go City...!
Keep chugging!
First Goal was world class
Even Ronaldo and Messi would admire and agree😊
Eduard mach weiter so.
Der Herr segne dich 🙏✝️
Ni sacando a Takaoka del once Vancouver puede resolver sus falencias defensivas
stl pretty lucky to get a win here I think. Better bring some better stuff in the future
You call that luck?

I agree, quite a few STL wins are due to rivals own goals or terrible mistakes from the other team
@@Jaze147 not to mention all those fouls STL got away with too ref was on there side for sure. So yea lucky.
Good game

What the … substituting the goalkeeper after such a free kick ? 😂
@@KingElmo83 Absolutely yes! that shot was 200% parable! no discussions! I would expect coaches to be much tougher on their players!
@@Stefano.Martino83 i think the second goal is much worse. The striker has no chance to get the ball and the goalie has to stay in his goal
What was STL fans singing in the beginning of the video?
Lfg!!!

All 3 Goals was Mistake of the Goalie ...
