Gotta say, it was pretty thrilling! :)
We'll also chat about my experience with the LiPo battery, which I've only dabbled with twice so far.

Yeah, from what I recall, they've had that battery for at least half a year (I got the drone about six months back, so I've been checking their page regularly). Glad you enjoyed the video! Take care, man!
Great flight and comments! In my experience Lipo's have very linear power distribution from 4.2 to 3.5v, which means they deliver constant power over the voltage range. In practice it makes easy to plan the furthest distance achievable. Nevertheless, there is confidence curve to be experienced up to that point! I always fly with lipos, but this weekend I had the experience of flying with a Lion. I'm going through the opposite experience curve!
Yes, it's a bit challenging to change your mindset, so you need to be extra cautious during the first few flights. Also, the need for constantly adjusting settings in Betaflight (battery warning).

Nice dive! Your LiPos are quit big! My biggest one is 1300mA ;-)
It seams, the 8000 is much hevayer than a lipo with the same capacity, so you will not get more flighttime. Have you tryed a 5000 LiPo? Cheaper, faster charged (lighther copter result in more fun flying it)
Yes, I've thought about it; I think you recommended her to me before. However, I feel like I haven't flown with her enough. I need at least 15-20 minutes.
