Vložit
- čas přidán 4. 09. 2024
- Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

Sweet 16 ....me thinks
Sharks at Haulover.......just waiting for a TASTY jetski-er to fall off !!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Sharks follow the food.... Lots of trash and Garbage tossed overboard by returning boater/Fishermen, before entering the Inlet ????
@@richardfrey3716 Maybe from fishermen cleaning fish as they move toward shore.
But the # of fishing boats is low, outnumbered 100 to 1 compared to pleasure craft. Cheers!
The sharks have probably been there all along, the drones just make them more visible.
Yes they have. Grew up around there. Especially under the bridge lurking in the shadow facing the current along with Tarpon and Snook.
The sharks are there to see Boat Zone Live!; ditto on the old school Donzi.
The little boy on the front of boat “No Lifejacket😢”
lol i like how the pelican went through a full systems check after they let it go hahaha
i'm visiting miami in a few weeks, can't wait to chill out at haulover, i hope i see you guys there!
This is the life mine two the lake so peaceful my happy place 😊❤❤
The saying about having the gear and no idea is accurate for boating too, not many folk think about others and that’s evident by the way folk don’t put things away or securing them before setting off. A rope around a propeller is a big pain and can be a challenge for any captain. It’s a good practice to have a check list when you set off, it only takes a moment and can save you time.
Increased shark presence could be them getting ready for the upcoming mullet run. Maybe it’ll happen a little earlier this year.
"Show Business Kids making Movies of themselves you know they don't give a F--k about anybody else".........RIP D, Fagen. This song fits perfect these vids.

@@tomcoryell my bad
you must admit the song fits, right?
Aren't they supposed to put the fenders in when way
Those Pardo boats have to be the wettest ride I've ever seen
So true
Seriously... They have absolutely ZERO flare.
Yeah, surely they're meant only for Lake Como or The Mediterranean...
and ugliest

The sharks are watching your videos and hoping a Haulover stuffing might offer them a snack!
been reading up on high incidences of sharks close to the shore. Could it have something to do with the Florida water temps reaching very high temps so early in the season?
Flyover country question- do these yachts come equipped with a harem on staff?
6:14 Humans being bros 🤝
No, MEN being Bros.
The Pardo yachts suck not having any Carolina Flair.
I think the sharks are fans of your channel and just want to get in your videos.
so cool.the waves.girl.i love the ship
11:30, well, hello there.
BG's going to have a field day with the kid in the bow!
Very few, but really very few, have any idea what they are doing.
7:46 no vest 😮😮😮😮
Yes , sharks in the sea , it was really worth a question .
Sharks probably waiting for all the food people throw off board . Or the actual people to fall loll
Reason for outboards ,It’s Miami,It’s all about the bling bling ,
Found out it was a “ boat wrap” that peeled off..
thanks - was wondering what that was
Taking a Pardo through Haulover is like wearing Gucci loafers to walk through a NYC blizzard.
Glasstream gonna sink if they don't get rid of some of the ballast!!! :)
Warmer seas often result in more sharks coming in closer to shore. The same thing is happening on the west coast.
But where are they all going when they enter or leave the inlet? It seems like the haulover sand bar is actually before leaving the inlet.
Thats the downside with those wave piercing bows. They go through instead of over. So you get a lot of wash. Traditional bows go over, less splash more slamming and pitching. Win some lose some. Wave piercing is also a lot more inefficient since it pushes the boat through so much water so it takes lot more fuel in those conditions. But it is more comfortable for sure, if you are in an enclosed cockpit or helm station that is. Open boats with wave piercing bows are probably the dumbest idea.
It could be "wave piercing" and still have a 1 foot "flare" at the top. Call it a "Trumpet Bow"
I like seeing the hydra sports because I build them. Lol
I can see the bottom of the sea goes from deep to shallow very abruptly where the wave zone is.
Pardo look like they should be regulated to lakes and bays. Stupid bow design IMO.
All that freshwater wash down they could of prevented 🤔 looking for attention flying into the Marina!
IF it gets me Lucky tonight I dood It . Sharky be crazy .
More Sharks ? Sharks love inlets, it brings them food. Hammerhead Sharks breed in the mangroves, just think of them as your neighbor. We are in their waters !
100%. Plus if the tide is coming out that inlet is draining. That means it's pulling even more food out.
Why are Pardos so popular?
Why are the waves always so high at this river mouth?
I am shocked at how many of these boats don't have bottom paint, and you can tell some of them sit in the water for extended periods of time.
Money buys them, brains service them.
I think they have pretty modern formulations now. It can just be the same color as the boat. Doesn’t need to be 1860’s red copper and iron oxide anti-fouling paint. Modern coatings and fiberglass hulls do pretty well.
more sharks equals more people snacks
What does it look like doing it correctly?
If I didn’t know better I am sure at the 3.40 point of this video the “Yellowfin” boat wake I saw a very large fish if not a shark breaching on the starboard side. Take close look and tell me I not seeing things
Call me "Jaded" but I think that was his $3,000 wrap coming off !!
Cigarette and Midnight Express ftw.
Well, you know...I just watched Shark Week, so I am kind of an expert now....
1:40 😅
Of course there are more sharks at Haulover these days. They've been watching all the vids being taken there and know it's just a matter of time before some googan sinks his boat in the inlet, probably taking a few friends or family members with him. I can hear the sharks, now...."Mmmmm......fresh googan......yum!"
Nope, they're just curious about the ado.
They don't like the our taste - watch Mark Rober's video when he tested the theory. Human blood in the water? Sharks don't care. Fish blood in the water? Sharks go crazy.
The sharks watch your channel also and just wanted to be on too. I think one of them had a thong on.
Sharks cornered a Bait Ball .

I’m not a boat expert. But it seems to me that having the top 2/3’s of the front of your hull slope towards the stern and slightly inboard so that any water that gets a little high sprays directly into the boat seems a little odd.
What’s the benefit to that hull design?
The reason is to be artistic and different. It's not a good design.
Stay ahead of the game with an exclusive interview featuring Binance’s CEO on future developments
Hurricane came through and pushed them north?
Cool vid but the extra wave noise not so
The bow design on the Pardo is SO stupid. useless in any waves. LOL
"Boat Zone", can you tell me about the depths of the area of "Haulover"? The overhead drone shot right near the mouth has me puzzled... ~Thank You~
Take a look at the Navionics Chart viewer (can't post the link in YT, sorry). You might need to adjust the units, for me the default was metric.
@@realulli tY~
More sharks - geomagnetic reversal?
They migrate I believe
Why not build a breakwater in front of the inlet to break the waves? This is dangerous
3:45 mark-what was the black thing that rode the boat wave?
Looked like the hull wrap came off
C'mon. Prop(s) down, tabs up. Raise prop(s) until it starts to act right then lower tabs until you can feel the control. Minimum of adjustment after that, drive the boat with throttle.
3:42 Whats that ?
акула 🦈 🤷
The boat has a wrap that was not well applied, it was peeled off by the water.
@@Shattered65 Ah Ok, Thank You :)
Mình có cái nào thì nó mới cho con đi học thì
if it's on a boat it's LINE, not rope.
Truth
It was in the water, so, "rope". Ever un-wrap a rope from a propeller ??
There is no way I would go out there with a boat load of people with one outboard motor.
Those sharks are circulating a school of fish that have formed a ball for protection !
Are the Pardo's meant for lakes?
They are designed for invigorating salt water showers while underway.
This video is a few days late. Last week was shark week!
The waters are warmer every year.. the sharks wander closer, the storms get more intense.. just observations…
Yet we're not getting the Sea Level Rise of the expanding water.
If you pay 1 million $'s for a boat, you better expect it to make if fine in the inlet during calm conditions!!! A storm I could see, but...
Serious question... Why are there so many midnight express boats in Miami? Do people use them for leisure, fishing?? Are they rentals? I feel like there are just so many of them. Just curious.
I'm pretty sure it's just people flaunting their money (or debt), same reason there are so many exotic cars there. I doubt many fish from them, at least not heavily and a lot of the ones you see don't even have rod holders on the T-Top.
They are probably the best ocean speeder for comfort, handling and space.
@@kevinandersen25 That doesn't explain why Midnight Express specifically. Yes, there are lots of exotic cars in Miami, but they are somewhat evenly distributed between brands.
Midnight Express is based out of Miami. I bet a lot of what you're noticing is sea trails and just general testing, esp. if its just 1 or 2 guys on the boat.
@@95mushroom Driving a car is pretty routine but going fast on the ocean is challenging and dangerous for most. I think midnight set themselves apart by offering a big, capable ocean hauler with a very pedigreed hull shape patented I'd think and high level of luxury. Many cheaper boats but hard to find a center console that capable, spacious, and well appointed.
Yea it’s called the OCEAN.
Sharks are because of climate change and ocean temperatures shifting. Hell, NOVA SCOTIA CANADA is becoming a shark hot spot !!!
Yea, warming waters causes bait population spikes. Its really bad here in Destin & Pensacola FL. Just at the beach other week, I've maybe had 1 or 2 sharks within visual range. I literally got buzzed in the water 4 times by sharks. Granted, 3 of the 4 were little guys, the big one that I didn't notice till it was past me, that was *BETWEEN* me and the shore, I called it quits there.
Endless food sorce...😅
its warmer water.my dude.shark season
Хуть птицу спасли )))
Sharks are waiting on a fat person to float out.
Whats the reason for all the outboards engines? Where im from no one has them all inboards ?
They are more reliable in saltwater than any gas inboard
Getting more and more popular for multiple reasons, less weight and ease of servicing are two major factors for the popularity. Also frees up lots of room inside the boat. If you have two indentical vessel the outboard version will be lighter and have more storage room inside BUT will be slightly longer in overall length
Two main reasons; selectable horsepower, and maximizing interior space. Instead of having 2x 800+hp inboards, that run all the time even when idling, you only need 1 or 2 outboards running. Cycle between the outboards, and you can really stretch maintenance requirements. Servicing is much easier as well.
The space and weight savings should be obvious.
11.52 Grandmas gone wild. :/
3.42 what came off the front of black boats starboard bow
maybe paint delamination? or the vinyl came unstuck ...
@@-Yogoit appears to be a large fish of some sort. Or at least it looks like it has a long dorsal fin and a short fin. I was wondering the same thing.
Graphic design wrap. Also used on automobiles
Is the inlet rougher during low tide or high tide?
Low tide outgoing tide.
Pardo is a fashion statement, not a boat.
To easily distinguish between Pro and Amateur boat captains and crew? Simple. Pros always wear their ball caps backwards and will flash the camera with the super cool Shaka hand sign. You know these people can absolutely be trusted on the water.
Do you really need 5 outboards 😂
Apparently not really. On the newer Midnight Express 43', going from trips to quinces (5), only nets you 12mph!! And the outer outboards on quad/quince setups really take a beating and need much more frequent maintenance. It really is just a flex thing. Might be more useful on 50"+ boats though.
Black tip migration? Bait balls?
Sharks go where there is food.

Haulover Inlet, nestled in Miami-Dade County, Florida, is renowned for its picturesque views and vibrant marine life. Recently, however, the area has witnessed an increase in shark sightings, a phenomenon linked to both climate change and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Climate change has led to rising sea temperatures, altering the distribution and behavior of marine species, including sharks, who are drawn to warmer waters traditionally not their habitat. Additionally, the war in Ukraine has disrupted global markets, affecting fishing patterns and inadvertently altering the marine ecosystem in unforeseen ways. These combined factors have contributed to the notable presence of sharks in Haulover Inlet, prompting both caution and fascination among locals and visitors alike.
I hope it was a joke about Ukraine 😂
Delusional
Sharks live in the ocean
So where are the Coast Guard / Marine police ticketing these people for no PFDs?
i dont know all the laws everywhere but i know when my family boated you did not have to wear PDFs, but there had to be enough for all persons on board the vessel.
Ticket who? On Jetski were wearing them as required, did I miss something
@@firstsgt279 Every one in a boat should wear a PFD read the Coast Guard regs.
Florida mandatory age 6 and under.

bull sharks?
Nah, hopefully not....these bulls would have made news by now....these might be black tip sharks...they've known to be around that close downthere certain times of the year
I see so many muppets without life-jackets on those boats. It should be law to wear one before heading out like seat-belts in motor vehicles..
The Pardos are simply awful - the bow is designed to soak the boat and occupants...
...like the Axopar and others, the design is a triumph of style over function.
@@reality-cheque On the contrary Pardo's are great lake boats which is what they are designed for...
What a waste of money on that Pardo. If I buy a million dollar boat it better keep me dry. That hull design sucks.
As long as these sharks are not Bull sharks......they maybe black tips
I'm sorry but those Pardo yachts....IMO...besides being lumbering tubs, they sooooo ugly!
Never a good day to be a Pardo. Useless.
