This video of total idiots in boats is guaranteed to brighten anyone's day
Adam going down with the ship was my favorite 😊
🖖😁
Don’t automatically assume that the captain is drunk or incompetent. There also mechanical problems that could explain some of these accidents.
25:54 Why is a successful log barge dump in this video?
Probably because most other people have no idea that is how they are unloaded, seen it many times near where I lived. They do not know that one side of the haul is pumped full of water to allow it to list drastically to one side and the logs slide off. always fun to watch, but can take a few hours to get to tipping point lol
Because this channel sucks.
Maybe their feeling is that it's suitable for this video I think.
Lucky it plays fine with the sound off
Absolutely best when on mute.
There's over three million shipwrecks on the ocean floor. And there must be millions of anchors down there too. 🌹⚓
Dudes on the boat going into the cave were too busy with their phones to be scared.
wow, the welded up ferry...
Alcohol has kept us entertained for many decades.
08:35 You can't make this up. Boat is actually named "Nap Tyme"..
Apparently the owner did make it up.
Why do the logging boats always end up on the "idiot" videos?
And the tanker escape pod.. It’s supposed to do that. Looks funny I guess, I’m sure I’m missing shit too.
Do you think like me because no matter what boat it is, there will be stupid people on it
Some of these are funny but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with making light out of how devastating and dangerous most of the clips are. I'm not sure if I can justify glorifying people who are risking their lives and the lives of others. I'm kinda bummed out actually. Sorry 😐
you'll get over it
Yes....i also feel that everyone should run their rights and life by how you might feel about every video on youtube....
And instead of not watching it, we should all contribute to your therapy
Can you overcome that depression?
Who else saluted back to the guy at 4:20 ? I did!
I always salute at 420. =P
I said hello at 4:20 like you
I think these big boat Captains bribed someone to get their licenses.
"If you have to explain the joke, then it didn't F****** work, did it ?"
2:17 yacht was a case of the loss of engine control due to error in computerized helm, captain only had manual control of thrusters ...but he does manage to avoid other boats...this was actually a save by the captain
Some of these are quite funny but from this one must see that staying safe at sea is very important. Thanks for this video as a fun reminder
By watching this I have learned that boats have personal issues against cranes and docks.
they tend to drink to much also.
The truck is NOT parked. It is DRIVING on the river bed!
2:40 the relevant insurance companies are still craping themselves
The super yacht was a deliberate maneuver to avoid the bridge after loss of control
Yeah, perhaps. But what kind of loss of control? This isn't the only incident involving this particular yacht. Far from it, in fact. Either the owner has a catastrophic tendency to pick the wrong people for the jobs, or he is one poor captain and ships commander himself. That yacht is notorious among navy and government sailors across the world. And no. Fair is fair. Not always because of creating damage. But poor handling by the crew is a hallmark of this vessel.
1:19 . . Those are some shonky welds!
I know I am a poor welder. But if metal breaks on my hard welds. It does NOT break AT the weld. It’s 3/8” next to weld. IMO not enough heat, penetration. But I am a novice.
Looking at those welds at 1:10 ish. I thought, proper prep is 95% of the way to a good, strong fix. Especially for a box steel trailer. Then the camera panned to show its structural on a ferry/barge and my eyes popped so much, you'd swear I was Amanda Seyfried's twin brother.
1:07 - They need some duct tape on top of welding the rust.
My favorite was @3:42 ~ a "true captain"!!
3:30 - That drunk-ass lady didn't just fall off the boat. . . She OOZED off the boat! lol!
That boat named "Nap Time" at 8:36 was too perfect. Somebody was napping alright.
8:41 "Nap Tyme." How appropriate. =)
OMG the one starting at 3:35, best laugh I have had in a while!!
That thing you ordered that never arrived...
23:33 is intentional. Landing for scrapping. 25:42 i think is also aware.
Yep I saw similar before. Places they trun them as far up share as possible. Then 3rd world desperate people cut them up ignoring dangers.
10:43 Could a simple lazer level on top of the boat be modified to give a warning that you can't make it under the bridge? Million dollar idea or foolish endeavor?
guy going down with the pontoon is hillarious
I like how they yell at other ships way away with wind blowing, and think that will work.
1:21 Nice--that's part of your ferry!
This is the KING of ALL...."Idiots In Boats" Videos!!!
Nap Time, the name on the boat hit by the ferry LOL
8:41 Nap Tyme 😂
Tried to watch. Some nice videos. The insipid comments drove me away!
Mustache on radio @ 19:20 : "Clean-up on aisle 3"
1. the boys and *me
2. You should watch a Simpsons episode sometime; you certainly haven't heard Marge Simpson's voice before.
ain't no ocean beauty no more
well at 8:30 the boat's name does say NapTyme.
Ayo and Lojo in guest starring roles.
Apparently, it's hilarious to sink your boat and put gas and oil into fresh water. Ah har har har har.
13:00 Not caused by the captains errors. Was caused by an electrical failure with a subsequent engine failure.
Lovely
6:12 they want to warn the sleeping captain but don’t think to use their horn or whistle?
4:40 the truck wasn't watching the fish -- it was sea sick
25:28 - That's similar to one theory as to why the Edmund Fitzgerald sank so fast. Some researchers on one of those documentary shows figured out a wave and speed combination in the range of estimates for both where the bow embedded in the wave ahead and it could just drive itself underwater down the face of the trailing wave.
It was too much alcohol!!! 😅👍 (it’s a holiday so it’s good!)
@10:58 Thats the Gragon boat festival in Frankfurt Germany,
I used to live just on the other side of the buildings with the glass fronts.
Love watching people laugh about losing thousands of dollars.
17:26 should have waited for the tide. What kind of "skipper" doesn't know how high his wheelhouse is or how low a bridge in his path is? I think he always wanted a convertible so he made his own.
It's like they're trying to turn every intersection into a demolition derby.
4:20 is the best
Seeing those unbelievable moments caught on camera was like witnessing history in the making
Well on the plus side, the a**hole in that giant yacht could probably afford to fix that dock.
Are these captains all from Mass?
Where is captain ron at for towing big yachts at anytime
4:24. That's hilarious
It's all fun until reality slaps you in the face real hard.
So many new submarines
The useless commentary spoils the whole video.
@IRFInstantRegret You have an option not to read the comments.
8:50 name on boat that ran right into another is named Knapp Tyme!
And people are afraid of flying.
Having the boat names Naptime is asking for trouble.
haha funny video bro
Some people have more money than sense, others are neglicant at what they are doing.
Why do I hear the theme song to Gilligan's Island?
Min. 8:42 - the name of the boat is "nap time" that's what the capatain probably did
2.03 was not idiot. It was good thinking. Ship system was broken, so captain crash most cheapest object.
I’ll remember to play with the sound off next time
Kinda makes me suspect that the #1 requirement for ship's captains is alcoholism!!
Some people doesn't need to drive anything at all
Too funny...😂😂
Towards the end, there were a lot of planned scuttles, a normal launch, a well-executed timber delivery dump.
CZcamsr counting on us to be ignorant. 👎
repost after 5 years lol
If you can afford a yacht, why not afford a real captain and crew?
12:23 Help her out of the water and she falls back in.
4:10 🖖
The only idiots are the ones who don't know how to hold the camera
First Time Got the first comment xD
Keep trying you are like 3rd.
LOJO and Badger!!
Some of these videos are over 10 years old....
Stupid is timeless 😎
@IRFInstantRegret Relly!
@IRFInstantRegret 👍
Why do you know that number so well?
Most of these need a life ban from any water related craft
How people can be so incompetent is a mystery to me. Stupid
15:00 AYO Fishing on CZcams.
This narrator sounds like he's going through puberty
Is there a way you could just show video and save commentary? For someone lies to u and says they love u like your mom girlfriend and family.
Considering it is complete idiots using their boats, I guess it can be overlooked that these adults can not hold their video device correctly,
He decided to go down with the ship.... eventually. 😁
so new boating regulations and safety laws are around the corner...
we can do without these tiktok portrait shots
I knew a ship captain who “sailed” all over world. Ok mostly powered ships, Rick folks Yachts after Navy…. I have never helmed anything over 120’. *and that under supervision*
You don’t have brakes, steering unless under power. Or bow thrusters. *wonderful things*. The wind, current move you.
One thing I never understood. Some ports you MUST have a local board out in ocean who gives orders how to safely get into harbor. BUT if he/she screwed up the Captain is STILL at fault. And the Captain overruling the harbor Pilot will land Captain in legal trouble in another country. EVEN IF HE PREVENTS ACCIDENT.
About 35 minute was first I noticed anchor being dropped. *way too late*. I assume it’s not something that can be done quickly? From bridge?
Most of these people are drunk and should be arrested.
no talking.
I think if I had a 4 million dollar yacht. I'd hire a reputable non-alcoholic captain to man it. Just saying.
:16 the boat clearly fell off the truck trailer, that ones so dumb its not even funny.
This is why women live longer than men
